I keep behind Leanna as we go down the mountain, she looks so happy that I don't want to overtake her and not see it.
She's always loved these holidays, even the years we were here when she hated me, she would be so happy out here that she'd forget we weren't friends and we could almost skip back into our previous easy banter, just for the week. It was both my favourite and worst time of the year, I loved having her back, but I hated knowing it wouldn't last, it was almost cruel, knowing what we could have had if I hadn't fucked up by kissing her.
But that was the past, now, the girl of my dreams is talking about sneaking into my bed tonight and I plan on spending the hours waiting for her, on my phone, trying to figure out what I can do to her to make sure she enjoys it as much as I did last night.
My alarm rudely interrupts my sleep and I reach over to turn it off, only to hit a huge muscular body and remember where I am. “It’s too early, stay with me.” Nathan groans, rolling over and tugging me into him. “I can’t, the parents will go mad.” He groans again, pressing kisses to my shoulder and tempting me to stay, but I can’t, it would cause too much drama. “Nathan, I need to go before anyone else wakes up.” “Urgh, I know you’re right.” He pulls me against him for another kiss and I have to wrench myself away before I lose all my willpower. “Go back to sleep, I’ll see you later for breakfast.” I pull my pajamas back on and listen at the door, running across the hallway and into my own bed. I try to fall asleep, but my mind’s still reeling with everything that happened last night. Kim always raved about how good sex was, but now I know what she means, I’m surprised she ever stops, it was amazing and just the thought of it is giving me tingles between my legs that make me want
Kim and Jake arrive after breakfast, but my dad's made enough so they sit down and eat with us. It's weird seeing Jake in snow clothes, it should make him look less intimidating, maybe even a bit ridiculous, but somehow he looks just as scary in a puffy blue coat as he does in his regular jacket and jeans. It's no wonder he works at that bar on his own, even drunk adult men can see not to mess with him. Kim's clearly excited about having him here, she's been talking almost non stop since they arrived and he's watching her with pure adoration. The guy might be terrifying, but there's no doubt he's completely in love with her. The only time I see him take his eyes off of her is when he looks a Luke, a deep frown on his forehead as he sees the dark purple bruising on his face. We clean up the breakfast items once everyone's finished and Shane and Luke immediately run over to Jake. Clearly alongside Kim, those two aren't scared of him because they're chatting to him like they would a
While Nathan and I were intending to keep it quiet that we shared a bed last night, however, that was ruined when Kim came downstairs and announced that she pushed our beds together because a single bed is too small when she’s trying to share with a guy Jake’s size.My dad chokes on his coffee, Nathan’s parents disappear outside giggling like pixies and Shane, Luke and Gemma mute the TV and turn to watch the drama unfold from the sofa. My mum calmly puts her coffee down, rubbing my dads back as she chews over the words to say.“Why was Jake in your room and not in with Nathan?” She asks quietly and Kim laughs as though the answer is obvious. “OK, scratch that, do you intend to be sharing a bed throughout the remainder of this holiday?”“Yes mum.” Kim says, with n
My mum is crazy, particularly when she teams up with Leanna's mum, but the scariest part of their stupid little prank was that while I was sitting there, being forced to stare at Leanna's horrified face while my mum fake proposed on my behalf, I thought about what they were trying to scare me with and I wasn't scared, not at all. The images rushing through my head at the prospect of spending the rest of my life with Leanna were all good, going to university, living together, getting married, right here at this cabin, having children, I can't imagine wanting to do it with anyone else. But Leanna looked like she was being handed a death sentence and I can't blame her, that's the rational response for an eighteen year old who's only a few days into a relationship, not to embrace it wholeheartedly and want to help with table decorations.
I text my friends to pre warn them I'm driving in with Nathan this morning and wish I hadn't as I'm inundated with questions all the way to school, which don't stop even when I tell them I'll explain when I get there.Shane, Luke and Gemma hop out of the back and run off to meet their own friends and Nathan grabs my hand, walking with me towards where my friends are standing."I'll see you later." He whispers, kissing me on the cheek and squeezing my hand, and then he's heading away from me, over to where his own friends are."Classroom." Italia pulls me along behind her to our empty tutor room, Millie closing the door behind us and then they're all standing there, waiting expectantly for me to tell them what's going on."Uh… So Nathan and I are kind of seeing eac
The fact that someone has sent Leanna flowers is obviously bothering her more than it is me because she can't stop looking at the card, even once we get into her room."You could ring the florist?" I suggest, the fifth time she picks it up. "Ask them if they've got a record of who sent them?"She got her phone out immediately and googled the place on the card, clicking to call and then sighing, pressing the speakerphone to let me hear the answerphone message."Uh… hi, my name's Leanna Woodson, I had some flowers delivered today from yourselves and I wondered if someone could give me a call back please." She hangs up after giving them her mobile number."Hey, relax, it's flowers not a horse's head in your bed." I hug her, pulling her to lay down on her bed.
My run cleared my head and gave me a new perspective on the situation. So what if someone's sent me flowers, they're flowers, what are they going to do to me? I'm not allergic or anything, so they're going to look pretty while they slowly die in the vase on my windowsill.Well, doesn't that just sound like life in general? No wonder Kim is intent on experiencing everything she can!So I'm over the flower thing, it's done, the picture message someone sent Nathan though, is harder to feel relaxed about. He's got it in his head that someone's trying to split us up and is trying to narrow down the suspects when to me it's fairly obvious.Georgie. She's got a history of doing bizarre things when she likes someone, she's alrea
Leanna wants to forget about the flowers and the text, and after her very convincing argument last night, I agreed to do whatever she wanted me to.We slept wrapped up in one another and as soon as the memory of last night filtered into my brain, I was ready and desperate to take her again.I'm patient, so very patient, waiting until she wakes up before I start kissing her. She responds immediately, rolling onto her back and letting me settle between her legs. I slip beneath the blanket, licking and teasing her the way I planned to do last night, before the night took a different turn."Now, Nathan, I need you now." She tugs on my arms, I roll on a condom and slide easily inside her."Good morning." She giggles when I collapse on top of her.
