Hey, Y'all!!!!
Later today, I will publish the last chapter and the epilogue of "NORAH & HER UNTAMEABLE BOSS". I am a bit emotional about this story that wasn't that easy to write (the sex scenes were quite tricky). But now, I'm finally here, ready and willing to give our couple everything they've asked for during all these chapters and release them into the world.
Thank you for everything you gave to this story, for being there for me, every step of this adventure.
Thank you for your support and loyalty. You are the best!
But, most of all, thank you for your patience and understanding, and for not putting too much pressure on me.
Also, I would like to let you know that I am preparing something new for you (of course), so do not stay away too long from my Goodnovel page. Keep an eye on it.
One more thing:
I've decided to go back on ALL my old stories and start an extremely thorough editing process. It is not going to be a fast process (but a very painful and frustrating one). Still, I hope, by the end of it, to satisfy most of the requests you so politely expressed in your comments.
BACI & ABBRACCI, (xoxo)
EMMA.
“I don’t understand why you think I’m not being honest… What part of my story seemed a lie to you?” Leone asked with a chilling voice and his shoulders went back. Norah shook her head slightly.“I’m not questioning the story of your life. Not one bit.” She watched him closely and a thousand images of their common past come over her. Parts of past conversations, simple words and gestures that she saw but at that time, couldn’t quite grasp… During the days they spent together, he hid his true self behind this thick wall, showing her just small bits of the real Leone Gritti. This is why she couldn’t see his true thoughts, feelings, emotions. But things were so much clearer now when the dark clouds were gone. She usually was the queen of wishful thinking, but this wasn’t wishful thinking at all… was it?“I wanted you to know the real reason behind my decision. Norah, I don’t want you to get hurt even more because of who I am.”“Hmm… So, let me get this straig
“Yes, Freddie, David will come to see me this weekend. And I know for sure he won’t be coming alone,” Norah replied to her stepbrother. “Since he came to live here, in Milan, he kinda... changed… And the Italian ladies adore him.” A little girl with incredible blue eyes and long dark hair was trying to get the cellphone from her hand.“Cat! Cat!” she exclaimed pointing at it.“No, sweetie, it’s Uncle Freddie,” Norah said, trying to keep her calm. “Cat is coming later with Marco, Arturo, Aunt Gabby, and Uncle Yari.”“‘So, I’ll be seeing you and Dad next week?’” she heard Freddie’s voice at the other end.“Absolutely! Leo will send you all the info for the jet. And tell Pamela, your sweet fiancée, that I cannot wait to meet her in person.”“Cat!” the little girl repeated.“Listen, Freddie, I’m sorry but I have to go. Your niece is still half dressed and my guests will be here in twenty minutes.”“‘Go, sweetie! I’ll talk to you later, okay? Please, take care. Remember you’re ca
She couldn’t believe her eyes… Those photos were… She closed her eyes and felt like she was about to throw up. Norah Wilde opened her mouth and took a deep breath. Her heart had begun slamming inside her rib cage the moment she had recognized herself. “Oh, God… How is this possible?” she murmured, feeling her entire world crashing down around her. Norah looked from the screen to Ivana Rossi, the public relations manager for ‘Gritti International Bank’, then back to the screen.“‘Questa è lei, non è così?’ (This is you, isn’t it?)” Ivana prodded in Italian. ‘What the hell is going on here? And she’s talking in Italian… Why?’ Her brain was having a hard time understanding… finding the right words to create a phrase… to give these people a logical explanation of what she was seeing on that damn screen. Cold sweat coated her skin. Air wouldn’t squeeze past her locked throat, let alone words. Yes, that woman in those photos was her.
A strange buzz inside her intensified. The Boss knew her name? Maybe he did because he heard it from Ivana’s report, Norah supposed. The furious accusation in his eyes told her he’d already seen the photos. Well, of course, he’d seen them. Everybody saw them. That’s why Leone Gritti had stooped from the lofty heights of the top floor to the midlevel of the ‘Gritti Tower’. Her shallow breaths halted and her knees quivered. Norah was weirdly shocked by how defenseless the idea of Leone Gritti seeing her naked made her feel, but the effect this very perfect stranger had had on her from the start was unprecedented. She’d seen him stride through the offices in New York once and that simple glimpse of an incredibly gorgeous and dynamic man had made her view the postings at the head office in Milan that much more favorably than any other branch in the organization. Norah had wanted to advance and would have take
His gaze delved into her culpable one. She couldn’t hide the turmoil and resentment coursing through her at being put on the spot.“I am innocent and I’m absolutely sure you can prove it without roaming inside my phone as if you’re entitled to do so. My privacy has been invaded enough for one day, signor Gritti. Don’t you agree?” She was naked… On the internet. Norah supposed everyone in the building was staring at her image right now. Men saying filthy, nasty things about her, about every single part of her body… imagining doing dirty things to her… Women judging whether her stomach was flat enough, saying she had cellulite, calling her too bony or too tall or too something so they could feel better about their own body issues… Calling her a whore even… All Norah wanted was to hang her head and sob. All she could think was how hard she’d worked not to be pushed around by life the way her mother had been. At every stage, she’d tried to be self-re
Norah looked like she had been to hell and back. She was the portrayal of despair and disillusion but she immediately sat taller, blinking and visibly fighting back her tears to face him without shying away.“I want to leave, signor Gritti,” she stated in a determined tone. “I’m done staying here, and being mistreated.” The rasp in her voice scraped at his nerves while Leone studied her. Vixens knew how to use their sexuality on a man. If Norah was a victim, he would expect her to appeal to the protector in him and not be so confrontational. But Norah Wilde was a fighter. Leone didn’t want to find that determination attractive. ‘Don’t be such a fucking softie, Gritti!’ Leone had to remind himself that the woman standing in front of him was suspected of being the accomplice of Weldon, conspiring together with him to bilk the bank and a completely legitimate nonprofit organization of millions of euros in donations.“Miss Wilde, I am abso
“At this point, it’s my word against theirs… And we all know who you and everybody else are going to believe…” she said slowly in a defeated tone and sat on a chair. “I’m absolutely sure that nothing I might say or do might save my reputation when I have to fight against people with money and prestige.” Tears started falling down her cheek, but Norah wiped them off with the back of her hand. No one must see her crying, not Phillip Weldon, not Fabio Sensi, and, definitely, not Leone Gritti. “I tried to play by the rules, but in the end, I’ve lost anyway,” she continued this time talking more to herself than to Leone. “My image is trashed all over social media, my reputation is torn… All I’ve worked for so hard and sacrificed so much is vanished into thin air. All I’ve dreamed to achieve is not possible anymore… What am I going to do now?” Without saying a word to her or in general, Leone plucked his white handkerchief from his jacket pocket and moved to damp
She swallowed hard, then took a long sip of her scotch, shivering as the burn chased down her throat, then replaced her glass into its holder with a dull thud.“There! Are you happy now?”“‘Sì, grazie…’ (Yes, thank you)”“Signor Gritti, I think I have the right to know where are you taking me… Because up until this point, this is kidnapping and…”“This isn’t a kidnapping, Norah,” Leone countered dryly. “We’re going to Bellagio, on Lake Como. We’ll be staying at Yari’s villa. It’s in his wife’s name and away from the paparazzi’s radar. So, we’ll be okay there.”“Lake Como? No, no, I can’t go there. I want to go home. My passport is in my apartment, my suitcase, all my things…” she insisted, reaching to open her seatbelt. “I want to go to my apartment and prepare everything for my flight back to the States. I can’t stay here a second more.”“Oh, so you want to go back to the States, huh? The press there is more relentless than ours, Norah. Even if you managed to drop out of

Leone punched in the override code to get him to the floor he wanted. All the way up, he looked at her, admiring her from every angle possible. She was breathtaking. Norah was the only woman he knew who could make a work suit look so incredibly sexy. Were those the clothes he bought for her in Milan? He really hoped so… Knowing that she didn’t throw away everything reminding her of him made Leone feel happy somehow… Norah was still allowing him a small place in her life.“Are you okay?” Leone asked her in a sweet tone.“The way up is long but I’m good…” she replied and flicked her hair behind her shoulder. That sea of pure dark silk played with his senses… all of them. Her perfume was so unique, so sensual. Leone remembered sensing it on his pillowcase for days. He even stopped his housekeeper from taking it away and washing it. Leone needed her fragrance to be able to breathe. To be able to live after that day.“Would you like me t
Three months since Leone. Three months since she saw him for the last time in that damn conference room, in Milan. Three months of dragging her feet around, doing the same things day after day, living the lamest life possible. Even the paparazzi cut her some slack, and most of them moved on to the next hot subject: some young popstar’s extremely messy divorce. So, at this point, Norah was doing okay. Or she thought she was until she gave into Freddie’s suggestion to go out with Hank, one of his buddies from college, now some big shot on Wall Street. At first, she said no. Norah thought three months was still too early to go out with another man. But when she took a good look at her life, and saw how boring it was, Norah asked Freddie to give her number to his friend. It was time to get back on the horse and start creating a new Norah, find new interests, and try new things. She also told herself this date would be a test, to
Hey, Y'all!!! The end of this amazing emotional rollercoaster is almost near... There are still a couple of chapters left before we find out what is going to happen between Norah and her untameable Leo. Is he going to come to the States and look for her? Is she going to move on with another man? Is there enough love left to save them both? So many questions... I'll provide the answers as soon as possible. Keep an eye on the story. Thank you again for all your support and for your motivation. It means the world to me and I really appreciate it. Emma.
While the airplane taking them to New York, was smoothly crossing the ocean, Norah kept looking at the white clouds. She now knew that Leone was really through with her. She had waited for him at the airport, but he didn’t come for her. She kept hoping until the plane took off and still no sign of him. Strangely, Freddie was standing next to her, allowing her to morn in silence, looking genuinely worried about her. From time to time, she would give him a quick glance, trying to understand the reason why a man who never give a damn about her, would come to Italy to help her. Freddie might have blown up her relationship with Leone, but he was really sorry. He was treating her like she was made of glass, barely touching her, moving her with his gentle voice. He told her that he shouldn’t have waited for her to ask for help, but that he knew how important her independence was to her. He had wanted to respect her choices, but he couldn’t watch her
“Finally!” The man who entered the room with her lawyer was wearing a tailored suit and was shaved. That voice… She knew that voice!“Hello!” he said again. “Oh, my God!” she exclaimed. “I almost didn’t recognize you without your… stubble… What are you doing here?” Norah was perplexed seeing Freddie in the same room, but she was also glad. Even if he was just her stepbrother. “Norah!” She almost stepped forward to hug him, but stopped, a grim sensation coming over her. This would’ve been his only reason to come to Italy so unexpectedly. “Is David okay?”“Dad is fine. He’s worried sick about you,” Freddie said, sending a hostile glance around the conference room. “Why haven’t you called him?”“I... didn’t know what to say. You told him I was okay, didn’t you?”“Are you? Really? What is this?” Freddie waved at the conference table where red folders had been set in front of a handful of chairs.“I told you not to sign a single thing
“Ciao, ragazzi! (Hi, guys)” Yari exclaimed as he opened the door to his home to them a few nights later. They were there on Gabrielle’s invitation. With Arturo being born and the Weldon affair, the four of them had very few interactions. So, Gabrielle insisted, and… here they were.“Good job on the lawyer, Norah,” Yari added dryly.“Erin Anthony is really nice, isn’t she?” Norah asked him. But she barely paid attention to the conversation, totally astonished by the house she just entered. While driving there, Leone had told her that the house had been in the family for generations.“Nice?” Yari repeated under his breath, then turned to Leone. “Did you have anything to do with her choice?”“No way… Why? Are we about to lose these?” Leone asked plucking at his shirt.“My stepbrother found her for me,” Norah hurried to say. “I’m sorry… I didn’t know who else to ask. Why? Is she awful?”“Well… Depends which side of the table you’re on,” Yari said smoothly. “I have to s
