Tricia POV

All that should be on my mind is escaping, not love.

The day got clear, and Morgan walked down. He had a suit on while I hadn't gotten dressed.

"Here," he said tossing an orange cloth to me. What does he want me to do with the clothes?

"What is this for?" I asked, my eyes not meeting his gaze.

"I will be back in the evening with some of my friends, and will like you to wear this to meet us," he said moving close to me, and gave me a peck.

To his surprise, I reciprocated back giving him a peck.

This was the first time in a long while, I saw his smile in this way. My heartbeat hastened as I saw him smile, but I couldn't be fooled by his smile.

"Get me my meal," he said.

"On it... Master," I walked into the kitchen and told him what to do.

Although he didn't allow me to cook the last day, he told me to get his food, and I was okay with it.

When he was done eating, he left him.

Seeing him gone, I folded my hands biting on my tongue. For years, I have thought he

Tricia POV It's a good thing that I wore a veil. I kept walking and asked where Mr. Loyd was. "In there," one of the men said laughing. "You are one of the prostitutes Mr. Loyd always brings whenever Cherry isn't around." "Do you have a murder intent?" Another asked. "No," I said. "Then why did you come covered?" I was asked. Before I could answer, one of them warned me to leave as Mr. Loyd had a premonition that Tricia would be coming and wanted to capture and lock her. "If she tries anything funny, we would shoot her legs." He said. Hearing this made me happy that I came in disguise; instead, I would be crippled by now. I bowed my head and walked away. "Stop," the man who Alex always gave orders said, and I stopped. "Your clothes looks familiar. Turn over. What is your name?" "Amira," I said turning around. "Take off your mask," he said. "It's a taboo to do that," I said. "The man automatically dies after seeing our face if he isn't the one we want to see." "Alright,

Tricia POV "This is my story," I said flipping my hair backward. "Mr. and Mrs. Loyd died in an accident." "That I know," the old woman said. I wore a sad expression but had to say the truth no matter how painful it was. "It wasn't an accident," I said, itching my head. Oh, goodness, what am I saying? "The accident was caused by Alex who blamed me for their death." I took a deep breath looking at the woman. "Never would I have thought of that," I said. "I am my dad's daughter, but mom step daughter. Alex is my stepbrother." Paulina nodded like she knew all along. "Alex's girlfriend is more deadlier than he is," I said. "You mean Cherry," she said, and I nodded. Wait, how did she know Cherry? A smile crossed my lips as I thought of her staying in this society. She may have seen Cherry one day or the other. "Don't you have suspicions about Cherry?" Paulina asked. Suspicions? Why would I suspect Cherry, and for what? "No, I don't," I said. "Very well then," she said and

Morgan POV It's been two days since I last saw Tricia. No one knew her whereabouts. I tried blaming the guards but could not. After all, I told them to guard the door and not every corner. If only I had told them to guard every corner of the house, she wouldn't be able to escape. As for how I got to know that she escaped, I saw her footprint on the back floor and wall. "Morgan!" Alex, one of my friends, called. "You've been dull. Don't tell me it's all because of Tricia." It is. I like seeing her face. Her happy moments and sad moments. I saw her as my friend, though I don't know how I still hurt her because of Alexander Loyd, her stepbrother, and late father. "Morgan!" Johnny called. My friends were all standing around me, even Miguel. With a bitter look, I puffed out smoke from my mouth. "You don't need to be sad, Morgan," Miguel said. "It shows that she doesn't love you." I could see other men giving Miguel an eye to keep shut, but he didn't. "Do you deserve Camila?"

Selena POV No one knew who I was, all they saw was a woman covered in dust. I needed to study the area. It's been two years since I had last been here. The last time, I spoke with Morgan was the last day I showed my face. Foolishly, Tricia thought she had escaped. That veil would be my weapon against her. The Indian man who sold the veil to her was planted by me. He was sent to monitor the movement of everyone coming out from there. You may ask where I lived. I lived with some ladies of dirty jobs. Some of them were prostitutes, while some always got clients who wanted to go on a date with them. Some were always called to behave like girlfriends, while some were criminals. I wasn't close to anyone of them. They don't disturb me as I brought in my own money. My mind shifted to Morgan, and my chest pounded. "Morgan, you are mine," I said. It was hard for me to get Drake whereas I have decided never to give up. I was still spying on Morgan's life. "Has Morgan fallen head ove

Selena POV There were two ladies who were uncovered, inser***g what could be eaten into their vir**nal. It was disgusting. The lady who called me was alone, smiling and looking at them. However, she lifted up her eyes and looked at me. She was smiling, and calling me in. This is the height of it; I can't continue living in this house. I will pack all my luggage in the evening, and leave in the morning. "Not without Theresa," I told myself. Although this place is dirty, and I feel irritated with the way of life of the people, I have Theresa. She promised to help me, and I am also going to help her. I walked out, hitting the door hard. "Selena," Someone called, and it was Theresa. Only then, did I remember that I promised to go out. "I'm sorry," I said. "It's okay, people take me as a criminal," she bit on her lip. "It's alright," I said. "I would also like to commit some crimes one day." She laughed at what I said, then held my hand. "Let's go out," she said, and I nodde

  • NEVER KNEW HE WAS A MAFIA    ACCOMPANIED PAULINA

Tricia POV It has been a month since I have been living with the old woman. Her neighbors were all accommodating. At first, Paulina didn't want me to do anything, but who am I to allow an old woman like Paulina to do everything? I got more veils when I started staying with her. Paulina is full of wisdom; she told me to get a new set of veils and dump the first one. On the day I got the new veil, I covered my face with a scarf, and not the veil so as not to be recognized. "You need to be careful," the old woman said. "Your husband doesn't stay in this area, but can visit anytime." "Don't call him my husband," I said. The woman shook her head and patted my back like a little child. "You still love him, dear," she said. "You only do not want to remember your past." Hot tears began to fall from my face, and I calculated. "I still love him, but he doesn't," I said. I was laying my head on the woman's leg. My eyes were swollen with tears. "You may go on," I said. "I will be fine." With this Paulina left us. I stared at the men's faces. "According to the details that Paulina, she lost her family in an accident," the first man said. "Who are you, then?" "I'm Tricia Loyd, and I live with Paulina," I said. "Hello, I am John Phillips," the second man said. "And I am Paul Philips," the first man said. No wonder, they are brothers. "We are twins," Paul said. I nodded, looking at them. Did they have anything to say? "Now that we know you aren't the daughter of that old lady," Paul said, and John smiled. "We have a job for you." John was standing while Paul was standing, and I guess just as they say, twin children always have different behavior. "What job?" I asked. "Bend down," Paul said, throwing a napkin at me. "

  • NEVER KNEW HE WAS A MAFIA    SPEAKING OF HER MOTHER

Tricia POV We continued walking home, and my head was filled with what to make Christmas look like for Paulina. Christmas is just around the corner. "Paulina!" I called when we were in the house. With a smile on her wrinkled face, Paulina told me to drop the two nylons of what I was holding. "We would speak later," she said. "As of now, I am famished." I nodded obeying her. My stomach also felt empty. I placed the nylons down and brought out the packs. "You haven't been to that restaurant," the old woman said, and I nodded. "They have the top-notch delicacy in this society." I nodded, thinking of how the woman didn't allow herself to melt in the sorrow of her dead family. Well, she said it has been years. She was probably still younger than this. "It's ready," I said when I was done. "I should get us water." She said. "Let me get it," I said, but she refused. I waited for her until she brought two cups of water. "Let's eat," she said pulling out a chair for herself.

  • NEVER KNEW HE WAS A MAFIA    TOGETHER

Morgan POV I remembered the picture that I held the last day. Rivers was Theresa's brother. "You are awake," Tricia said. I smiled and gave her a peck on her forehead. My gaze went to Ethan's bed. "Our son is soundly asleep," I said. She laughed and told me how she had to keep Ethan down last night. "He is becoming more stubborn," she said. "Then I will take care of it," I said. I walked to Ethan when I sensed that he was awake. "Ethan, you are to take your bath now," He used his legs to hit my hand and smiled looking at his mother. Tricia smiled when she saw what Ethan did. I raised him to my arms and he struggled to get free. "Here we are," I said as I placed him in the bathtub. We played a little before I had his bath. "Today, I want to take us out for a fun time," I said as I walked out of the bathroom with Ethan. "Should we take our bath together?" Tricia asked. I didn't expect her to say that so I was a bit surprised. "We can't," I said thinking of how it wo

  • NEVER KNEW HE WAS A MAFIA    RIVERS BURIAL

Morgan POV Two months had passed, and it was the day for Rivers's burial. He died a month ago. We all wore black as we stood by his grave. "Rivers, my brother, I remembered how you were," I said. Tricia stood beside me and held a flower. Drake and Theresa had come from their college to grace this occasion. He stepped forward with a flower and placed it on the grave. Tricia supported me but I couldn't help but feel angry. Why didn't he tell us what was happening to him? If it wasn't for Drake, we wouldn't have known about his issues. I held onto Tricia as I watched others walk to keep their flowers on Rivers grave. As the boss, my wife and I were to go last. We walked towards the grave to drop our flowers when they were done. I suggested that we should celebrate Rivers life in a restaurant. They accepted, and we left for a nearby restaurant. Our time of mourning was over, Rivers had been buried and now, life moves on. "Good morning," I heard a lady's voice while we were in

  • NEVER KNEW HE WAS A MAFIA    A SLAP

Tricia POV I chose to be stubborn even though Ethan's cry filled my heart. "Ethan, go to your father," I said. Morgan looked at Ethan, who held onto his leg. I could see him smiling and this gave me confidence to walk to him. Before I could say a word, Morgan slapped me. I felt extremely sad and my cheek stung. I looked around and saw people staring at us. This broke my heart and I left with Ethan. Entering the car, I told my driver to move. Maybe I was stupid when he slapped me. I stood there and looked angrily at him instead of pulling my gun on him. This idea made me smile. We got up and I walked up with Ethan, ignoring Felicia's call. In the room, I placed my phone on the side table while Ethan walked to his bed. Looking at my phone, I saw two missed calls and one voice message, they were all from Morgan. Taking a deep breath, I clicked on the voice message. In it, he pleaded with me and said that he would search for Cherry when his mood gets lighter. "Don't plead

  • NEVER KNEW HE WAS A MAFIA    ANGRY AGAIN

Tricia POV I waited for Felicia to be done with whatever she was doing before I called my driver. "You didn't need to wait for me," she said. I told her that since it was our first day to come together, I chose to leave with her. "Alright," she said and brought out her phone. She asked if we could take her to the house she lived in with her husband. "What would you like to take there?" I asked. "A lot, just don't worry," she said. Soon, the car arrived and we got in and sat like sisters. Felicia directed us on our movement. "Stop!" She said when we got to a gate. I wanted to come with her into the house but she declined. Five minutes later, I got worried as I didn't see her come out so I decided to go in. "I will be back soon," I said to the driver. "Should I accompany you?" He asked. I remembered what Morgan told me about my driver but no, I couldn't allow him in. "No, don't worry," I said to him. This could scare Felicia. I felt safe as I was with my gun and could

  • NEVER KNEW HE WAS A MAFIA    RIVERS SECRET

Tricia POV Miranda greeted Felicia but didn't take her eyes off her. Soon, the day was clear, and Morgan decided to get Felicia a few things. Felicia behaved awkwardly, but I guessed she wasn't used to being treated the way we did. The doorbell rang, and I saw Felicia shake. "Felicia!" I called. "Don't be scared. I walked to open the door as it seemed like the person was an outsider. It was a delivery man. He asked if I was Felicia or Mrs. Bliss and later gave me a package. "Mr. Bliss told me to deliver this to Felicia Bliss," he said after I signed and then left. I called Felicia and asked her to check it out. "Who is it from?" She asked. "Morgan," I said. Felicia opened the box and looked through everything. "Where is Morgan?" She asked. "I do not know," I said. As soon as those words left my mouth, the door flew open and Morgan stepped in. "Thank you, Morgan," Felicia said. I asked him where he was but he ignored by going out. It's been long since he last ignored

  • NEVER KNEW HE WAS A MAFIA    WELCOMING FELICIA

Tricia POV While we were in the restaurant, I held Felicia's hand. "What are you doing, Mrs. Bliss?" She asked me. "Quit the formality," I said. "Call her sister-in-law," Morgan said making me blush. "But I am not...," she was saying. I placed a hand on her lips as I knew what she wanted to say. She might not be related to Morgan by blood, but they had a bond when they were young. I wanted to feel like I knew someone from Morgan's family. We left the restaurant when we were done eating. Miguel drove to the group's house and I wondered why he did that. "Hold on," we said to Felicia as we got out of the car. Morgan advised that I locked all the doors for the safety of Felicia. She wasn't a member of the group so there was no need for her to come along with us. Getting into the car, I saw Felicia's head buried in her lap. It felt like she was weeping. "Felicia!" I called. Morgan turned back and looked at us. "You should let her be," he said. "She is going t

  • NEVER KNEW HE WAS A MAFIA    TAKING DOWN FELICIA'S HUSBAND

Morgan POV After taking my bath, I walked down with my family. My phone began to ring, it was Johnny. He asked me about my plans to get Mr. Adolf to confess. "Felicia chose the surname of her foster parent rather than her husband's name," I said. "It means that she isn't happy with him." I looked away from the phone and then thought for a while before speaking. "I will go in as a commoner," I said. "What if he knows who you are?" Johnny asked. He could say nothing to stop me. The only thing that they can do is to follow me. "How many would be coming?" I asked. "Five," he said. "Names?" He mentioned five names, but why wasn't Alonso included? "Alonso?" I asked. "He has a business ordeal," he replied. I sighed knowing that I had never interfered in their personal business. "Alright, come along with Maxwell," I said and ended the call. Tricia placed a hand on my shoulder. "I trust you to bring justice," I smiled hearing this and kissed her hand. "I am forever grateful

  • NEVER KNEW HE WAS A MAFIA    DRAKE'S PRESENTATION

Tricia POV The week passed as quick as possible and we were in a new week. I woke up and took Ethan to bath. It has been a struggle to take his bath ever since I got home from being kidnapped. "Ethan, be easy," I screamed. He was stubborn, and I guess he got that trait from his father. Turning back, I saw Morgan glaring at me. "I can take care of him," Morgan said. "Alright," I said handing Ethan's towel to him. I walked down as I didn't want to hear Ethan's scream. Thirty minutes later, Morgan walked down with Ethan. "You should go to bath," he said. I nodded and was about to go up when Ethan walked to me and shook his head. He rested his head on me, and I knew that he was sorry for behaving stubbornly. "You should be gentle next time," I said. Morgan laughed and when I asked for the reason he laughed, he said, "You wanted a male child who will behave like me." His words made me smile. I walked up the stairs with a smile on my face. After dressing, I walked down and Mo

  • NEVER KNEW HE WAS A MAFIA    FELICIA BLISS

Morgan POV We walked into the car and I drove home since Theresa and Drake were going to be less busy for two days. "Ethan!" Theresa called as I drove. Tricia wore a frown on her face. I knew that she was angry with the way I did. Parking the car at a side, I told everyone that Tricia was going to drive the car. Soon, Tricia sat in the driver's seat, and I could hear Ethan hail his mother, although he couldn't speak. It was a slow ride but it was nice. "Let's go to the complex," I said to Tricia. "Why?" She asked trying her best to keep her eyes focused on the road. It looked funny that she was trying to behave like me. This was the reason she was slow. "You aren't a master so keep your gaze low," I said to her. "Alright," she said. Taking my advice, her driving was a little bit faster. "To the complex," I said. We got to the complex, and Tricia held my hands before I got out of the car. "Who are you here to see?" She asked. I knew that she knew that I wasn't going t
