You cheated on my brother

Dave was taken aback by her question.

Was she trying to play defensive now? or was she really been serious.

How could she even ask him such silly question, and acting all angry, when he should be the angry one. 

Why would she just walk into ask him questions, when he is the one who has loads of questions to ask her. He stood and moved closed to her, held her hands and looked into her eye.

"Amy, he called her fondly. Please tell me the doctor was joking, please tell me you are not pregnant because that would shatter me". Amanda didn't want to be confused, and she didn't want to fall for any truck Dave was coming up with.

It might seem embarrassing for him to admit, that he raped her, but that would be better atleast, for we, she would not go insane.

She shrugged him off and moved backwards to look at him from a little distance.

" I am pregnant Dave, and the doctor thinks you could have raped me so I ask again Did you rape me?

Now Dave was shocked.

Rape you? How could I possibly do that? He questioned we back.

He hated the question already, but this was no longer looking or sounding funny.

To better clarify himself, he added.

" You wanted to wait, and I was willing to wait, but you obviously wasn't waiting with me, you were busy having fun with some God knows who.

You broke our vow. I begged you many times but you never listen to my pleas I left you, but here you are pregnant.

How could you even do that to me, to us? Dave was closed to tears now, he could cry any moment soon, he looked away to hide his anger, that seem to be forming up by the minute. Then he turned to face her again.

"Just to be cleared Amanda, I didn't rape you and I could never rape you, if this is the style you want to use to approach this matter? then I will tell you that I am no fool.

Provide the father of that thing you have inside of you, so I can ask him some questions.

It was becoming clearer to Amanda, that her day, that started well, with her husband, loving and caring for her, taking her to the hospital, to be sure she was fine and all, was turning to a nightmare.

Amanda was shocked, she hadn't seen this side of Dave ever before, she looked at him and started to cry.

"Dave I have never slept with anyone but you, you  are my first. At least you know that, then how is it possible that I am pregnant if you really didn't drug me and raped me".

Dave looked angrilly at Amanda, he could not explain the sort of prank, she was playing on him.

"Now you are starting to get on my nerves, this is how you want to play it right, then don't worry, the world will hear, that you are an adulturous wife, you are a slut, a bitch, a prostitute" Amanda was shocked, that Dave could call her names. As if that was not enough, he added.

"I never knew I was living under the same roof with a witch who can kill by a single action, but I will not let you kill me, we shall see the end of this drama, I want to know how long you are willing to play ignorance".

"This is not a prank? Amanda asked herself, as she watch him leave. He hissed,  And grabbed his car keys again and left, she fell on the floor and wept, she couldn't understand a thing, everything was strange to her, she needed answers but she didn't know how to go about it, she was scared to call her parents because they would judge her, so she needed answers before she could call or tell anyone about her current state. While she was crying her sister in-law walked in with a bowl of ice cream.

Sonia was Dave's younger sister, about the same age with Amanda she wasn't married yet, but didn't seem to care so much about it, she always said she hoped to get pregnant to some rich man in the future and afterwards, divorces him,  and single handedly take care of her child as long as the money keeps coming in, she doesn't mind.

She had been living with them since the death of her nephew Amanda's son and she was really a great help, she was the only one that approved of Amanda in the family, she liked her and always loved to play with her hair as though she was a baby.

Oh my God! Sis, why are you on the floor crying, what is wrong? She asked,  rushing towards her on the floor, and trying to help her up, but Amanda refused.

Looking up at her Amanda only cried even more, how could she tell her sister in-law that she was pregnant, when she hadn't slept with her brother at all, how could she explain to her that she was expecting a baby but she doesn't know the father of the baby.

She held Sonia closed before looking up to her she didn't know how to say it, but she had to say something.

"Sonia you have to help me, you have to help me else I would die.". She started that way, and Sonia quickly replied.

God forbid you will not die. What is the problem? She asked, wanting to know what was wrong.

"Sonia I am pregnant". She let it out aost immediately, before she would take it back

"So? How is that a problem, aren't you supposed to be happy? Sonia asked, not sure, if she understood her, and why she should be worried, about her pregnancy.

Amanda breathed hard, before she could tell him the bitter truth.

"Sonia your brother and I have not been intimately involved since junior died". 

Sonia looked confused, what was she uttering, her sister in-law definitely looks mad. She could not be saying what she thinks she is saying.

How could she say she has not been sleeping with her brother, yet she is pregnant.

She is not the type of person that would sleep around, plus, she has always been here with her, and she doesn't look like she has something to hide from them.

She looked questioningly at Amanda, wanting to hear more.

"I mean, Dave and I have not slept with each other since I lost my baby and now I am pregnant, how is it possible? She was asking Sonia, as if she should have the answer.

Sonia opened her eyes wide, and stepped backwards standing up from her squatting position on the floor, she looked at Amanda again before her next statement.

"You cheated on my brother?
