Chapter Thirty Two

Diluc arrived at his father’s office building, a towering structure that loomed over London’s skyline. The city sprawled out below, a mix of historic landmarks and modern skyscrapers, the River Thames winding its way through the heart of it all. He had received an urgent summons from Antoine earlier that morning, and the tone of the message had left no room for ambiguity. His father was not pleased.

As he stepped out of the elevator on the top floor, Diluc adjusted his tie, mentally preparing for the confrontation ahead. Antoine's office was at the end of a long, opulent corridor, its walls adorned with expensive artwork and awards that testified to his success.
