Kaida's pov
I heard a knock on my door and told the person to come in.
It was Alpha Atlas.
As he entered, his intense gaze fixed on me.
“Can I have a word with you?” he asked, stepping closer. His scent was strong and alluring.
Instinctively, I stepped back, feeling his imposing presence as he towered over me.
“Are you okay?” he asked gently, and I nodded. ”can I talk to you?” he asked, “you are already talking to me alpha or are you here to continue with what you couldn't finish with Akira?” I asked teasingly.
"You're irresistible, naughty girl," he whispered, his warm breath caressing my skin. His lips danced along my neck, sending shivers down my spine.
"We can continue this in my chamber if you want to," he murmured, his voice husky with desire.
I shook my head, “you are such a player, Do your pack members know how naughty their alpha is” I whispered. “No my love” he replied laughing
“Look, Kaida,” he began, “what you saw in my room was a misunderstanding. Nothing happened between Akira and me.” There was a trace of guilt in his eyes.
“Alpha, you don’t need to explain anything to me, alright?” I answered firmly. “I’m not your girlfriend, and this isn’t the first time I’ve seen you in compromising situations with other women. Besides, Akira is your girlfriend, so there’s no explanation needed.”
“Akira isn’t my girlfriend, Kaida,” he said calmly, though I sensed a hint of frustration in his tone.
“As if I care whether she is or not,” I replied, meeting his gaze evenly.
He sighed. “I just wanted to check on you, and I felt it was important to clear things up.”
“Alright, Alpha, but really, there’s no need. Save that energy for when it matters—because one day, you’ll have a lot of explaining to do to your mate about your reputation with nearly every young she-wolf in the pack.”
At my words, he closed his eyes, and when he reopened them, all I saw was deep regret.
“Kaida, I’m sorry,” he whispered before leaving the room.
What’s going on with the Alpha? I wondered as I watched him go, feeling a confusing swirl of emotions.
After Alpha Atlas left my room, I focused on finishing my homework. Exhausted, I drifted off to sleep, only to wake up later to the soft sensation of a hand gently touching me. I opened my eyes, but I didn’t need to see his face to know who it was. His presence was as familiar as my heartbeat.
“Baby, I’m here,” he whispered, sliding into bed beside me. Something felt different tonight; he was quiet, a stillness unlike him.
“Are you alright?” I asked, sensing the tension in his silence.
“I’m fine,” he replied but then paused. “But… can I ask you something?”
“Of course, You can ask me anything,” I reassured him.
He hesitated for a moment before speaking, “Are you… in love with your Alpha?”
I blinked, caught off guard by the question. “What are you talking about?” I asked, my voice filled with surprise.
“There’s a rumour going around that you’re in a relationship with Alpha Atlas,” he said calmly, watching my face closely.
“Alpha Atlas?” I shook my head, surprised by the absurdity of it. “Atlas has been my brother’s friend for years, but I could never fall for him. He’s… well, he has a reputation as a womanizer.”
I knew I had just lied to my mysterious man. The truth was, I did have feelings for Alpha Atlas, but I couldn’t bring myself to admit it to him.
“What if he is your mate? Will you give him a chance?” he pressed, his voice calm but probing.
I hesitated. “I’m not sure if he’s my mate,” I replied honestly. “But I’ll find out soon, on my birthday in a few weeks. Still, I can’t imagine him choosing me as his Luna, I’m not the type of girl he usually goes for.”
He was quiet for a moment before I changed the subject. “Enough about the Alpha. Tell me… which pack do you belong to?”
The silence stretched, and I realized he wasn’t going to answer me directly.
“It wouldn’t be any fun if I revealed myself right now,” he said softly. “But… on your birthday, I promise, I’ll tell you everything.” There was a sadness in his voice, a heaviness that made me wonder what secrets he was carrying, and why he chose to stay hidden from me.
He gently pulled my pants aside, his fingers exploring, slipping into my most sensitive spot, sending waves of pleasure through me. As he moved his fingers, he leaned in close, his voice soft and full of longing.
“I wish we could spend every night like this, wrapped in each other’s arms,” he murmured.
“And I also wish we were mates,” I whispered back, feeling the truth of my words settle between us.
“Be careful what you wish for,” he replied, a hint of mystery in his tone, “because it just might come to pass.”
"You're irresistible, naughty girl," he whispered, his warm breath caressing my skin. His lips danced along my neck, sending
I tried to touch his d..k but he stopped me instantly. Why do you always stop me?” I asked, frustrated. He had never allowed me to touch him like that, and I couldn’t help but wonder why.
He looked at me with a mixture of restraint and desire. I could see his eyes through the mask even though the room was dark “Because… if I let you, I might not be able to control myself,” he murmured. “I don’t want to risk hurting you.”
He pressed gentle kisses along my neck, his warm breath sending shivers down my spine. His lips lingered at the spot where my mate would one day leave his mark, the sensation sparking a mix of emotions within me.
I instinctively pulled away, preventing him from further touching that spot.
As he explored my body, his touch was tender and considerate. He moved with a slow, deliberate pace as if savouring every moment. His caresses ignited a fire within me, and I felt myself becoming lost in the sensation.
He pulled my legs apart, his mouth trailing down to lick my p***y, sending shivers through my body. Afterwards, he carefully cleaned me up, his touch tender and considerate. Even though I was keeping myself for my mate, I couldn't resist his magical touch. We may be a little wild at night but my virginity is for my mate to break.
Afterwards, he held me close, his arms wrapped gently around me. His touch was soothing, calming the tremors that still coursed through my body. At that moment, I felt a deep connection to him, as if our bodies had spoken a language that transcended words.
“Can I ask you a question?” I whispered, feeling a curiosity that I couldn’t hold back any longer.
“Yes, go ahead,” he replied, meeting my gaze.
I took a deep breath, the question heavy on my mind.” why do you hide your identity?”
He looked away briefly, he hesitated before replying. “Please, don’t hate me when you finally figure out who I am,” he murmured, avoiding a direct answer.
“Then why do you keep sneaking in here?” I pressed, my heart pounding with the need to understand him.
He hesitated, then finally whispered, “Because I couldn’t stay away from you.” With that, he slipped out of the window, vanishing into the night.
I was left wondering, his words echoing in my mind. What did he mean by not being able to stay away from me? Could he possibly be… my mate?
Kaida’s pov "Kaida, we're running late for training!" my brother’s voice echoed through the hallway.I quickly sprang up from my bed, my heart racing with urgency. "Oh no, I'm going to be late!" I muttered to myself, rushing to the bathroom to quickly wash up. As a werewolf, my pack members had an uncanny ability to sniff out even the slightest change in a scent, including my arousal. I couldn't afford to draw unnecessary attention to myself, especially not today. Last night's encounter was still fresh in my mind. I couldn’t help but feel a flutter in my chest as I thought about the mysterious stranger who had pleasured me the night before. As I washed the slippery liquid in between my legs, I couldn’t help but smile. My secret lover had a way of making me feel alive and desired. "Can't wait to see you tonight, sunshine. Remember to wear the blindfold and be ready for me." a message popped up on my phone.A sly smile spread across my face as I read the words. It was so unreal.
Atlas's POV I was in my office, focused on reviewing the income and expenditure reports for the pack over the past week. The numbers had to be precise, and I took pride in managing every detail that kept our pack thriving. Suddenly, a mind link interrupted my thoughts. “Alpha, Alpha Logan and his beta are here to see you,” One of the border guards reported. “Tell them to come to my office,” I replied, feeling a flicker of curiosity. Alpha Logan was the head of Oakwood Pack—and Akira’s father. His arrival was unexpected, and it puzzled me that he hadn’t informed me before crossing into our territory. As I waited, I caught their scent growing stronger, signalling they were approaching my office. Just as I was to greet them, the door swung open without a knock. Alpha Logan strode in with his beta. I frowned. The lack of respect in that simple act sparked irritation in me. I might be nineteen, but I was an alpha—a recognized one, respected and even feared by others. I
Atlas POV It had always been my dream to find my mate, make her my Luna, and rule the pack together, bound by love. But Alpha Logan’s words lingered in my mind, tugging at a part of me I couldn’t ignore. Maybe he was right—maybe attachments could weaken a leader. Still, it felt wrong. The future I’d imagined seemed to slip further away. Not long after he left, Akira burst into my office with a bright, self-assured smile. “My love, when are you setting the date for our ceremony?” she asked, her voice laced with excitement. Her words hit me hard, and I could feel a deep unease settle over me. How could I move forward with this when Kaida was my mate? Yet, I couldn’t make her my Luna because of a deal I’d made in desperation to protect the pack. “Alpha, you haven’t answered my question,” she pressed, her tone now teasing as if daring me to avoid her. “What did you say again?” I asked, hiding my frustration. “When are you going to announce the date of our marriage and offici
Kaida’s POV Throughout training, I tried to focus, to let the rhythm of my movements drown out the thoughts racing through my mind. But every time I blinked, the same image flooded back—Atlas and Akira, hand in hand, her clinging to him as if he belonged to her. My heart twisted painfully at the memory, each second stretching as I relived it over and over. t was ridiculous to feel this way, I told myself. But no matter how many times I swung my blade or threw a punch, I couldn’t shake the feeling that a part of me had cracked open. I was the warrior of this pack. I wasn’t supposed to feel so weak. And yet, just one look at them had left me breathless, my confidence shaken. Could he really have feelings for her? didn't he tell me he had nothing doing with her? The thought clawed at me, leaving an ache in my chest. I threw a punch harder than necessary, letting the impact send a tremor up my arm. Maybe this was foolish. Maybe I was letting my heart get ahead of me. But in t
kaida's pov As I lost myself in the music, feeling the warmth of the alcohol easing away my worries, I let my body move freely, swaying my waist and showing off a few dance moves I hadn’t pulled out in a while. I was fully in the moment, laughing with my friends, when I suddenly felt a strong presence behind me. A hand slipped gently around my waist, and I glanced over my shoulder to find none other than Alpha Miguel. Known as one of the most respectable alphas and admired by many, he was a little older than Atlas but every bit as captivating. The confidence in his gaze and the warmth in his smile was enough to make any she-wolf feel noticed. I returned his smile, feeling a spark of excitement. He leaned in close, his breath warm against my ear as he whispered, "how I wish you were my mate." The words caught me off guard, and I turned to look at him, surprised yet flattered. “You’re a great person, Alpha Miguel,” I replied with a playful smile. “I’m sure you’ll find that lucky
Kaida’s POV I turned to him, feeling frustration bubbling up inside. “And why does that bother you so much, huh? You don’t get to decide who I dance with.” Atlas clenched his jaw, his gaze smouldering. “Kaida, I don’t want anyone else touching you.” His words hung between us, raw and powerful, and before I could process what was happening, he reached out, cupping my jaw with his hand. In one fierce movement, his lips were on mine, the kiss consuming and intense, as if he’d been holding back for too long. My mind raced, struggling to make sense of what was happening. Why was Alpha Atlas kissing me? I’d dreamed of a moment like this, but something about the kiss felt strangely familiar—the way his hand held my face, the warmth of his body, the tension between us. It was almost like being kissed by my mysterious man. Or maybe I was just fooling myself. Maybe he was the only man I’d ever kissed, and that’s why everything felt so similar. I snapped out of the daze and shoved him a
Kaida’s POV “Dad, I don’t know what it is, but I feel like I’m falling for Alpha Atlas,” I began, my voice spilling out my confusion. “Maybe it’s just because he’s an alpha, but he always acts so strangely whenever he sees me with another male. You know what he’s like—a player, someone who doesn’t stick to one person. I don’t want to get tangled up with him.” I paused, taking a breath, but the words kept coming. “Just imagine it—he went so far as to warn Alpha Miguel to stay away from me, just because we were dancing! It’s insane. He’s always possessive, even though we’re not together, and I don’t know if I can handle that.” I could feel the frustration building as I let it all out. My father listened, a calm smile on his face, waiting until I was finished before he spoke. “Princess, you haven’t found your mate yet, and it’s normal to feel a pull toward other male wolves at this stage of your life. Sometimes that pull might lead you to your true mate—or it might not. So, just be
Kaida’s pov As I approached the school entrance, Alpha Atlas’ gaze bore into me with an intensity that sent a shiver down my spine. He had been watching me since the moment I stepped out of the car, his eyes sharp and unyielding, as though he could see straight through me. I told myself to keep walking, to ignore the weight of his scrutiny, but before I could, Akira swept in. She rushed to him with dramatic urgency, her voice cutting through the air like nails on a chalkboard. "Atlas, I’ve been looking for you everywhere," she said, her tone dripping with petulance, the kind of entitled complaint that only someone accustomed to being the centre of attention could master. Her irritation was evident, but it was the way she glanced at me that truly caught my attention. Her gaze lingered a fraction too long, her eyes narrowing ever so slightly, and I caught the flicker of a challenge in their depths. It wasn’t overt, but it was unmistakable—a silent declaration that this moment was
Piper’s POV The night air was thick with celebration. Laughter, music, the scent of roasted meats and sweet honeyed drinks filled the courtyard. And yet, I could barely focus on any of it. Not when Rex was looking at me like that. Like he wanted to devour me whole. I swallowed hard, my body still buzzing from our earlier kiss. I had kissed him. And now, I wasn’t sure if I had made a **huge mistake or if I was already too far gone to turn back. Because the moment his golden eyes locked onto mine, I knew— I was in trouble. I tried to step away from the crowd, to put some distance between us, but Rex was already there. Blocking my path and Towering over me. His heat pressed against my skin, his scent wrapping around me like a wildfire. "Piper," he murmured, his voice rough and thick. I clenched my jaw, trying to ignore the way my stomach tightened. "I need air," I muttered. He smirked. "Then let me join you." "It’s not necessary—" But he was

Atlas’s POV The sun rose over Crescent Moon, its golden light bathing the bloodstained battlefield** in an eerie glow. For the first time in weeks, the air was silent. No growls. No screams. No sounds of war. Just… silence. And yet, my body remained tense. Because this wasn’t over. Not yet. I stood on the balcony of the packhouse, overlooking the aftermath. **Scattered bodies** of fallen rogues lay across the courtyard, some already being removed by our warriors. The scent of smoke and blood still clung to the wind. Crescent Moon had survived. But at what cost? A part of me should have felt victorious. We had fought. We had won. Silas had been forced to retreat. And yet, as I watched the warriors move through the rubble, tending to the wounded, I didn’t feel victorious. I felt… exhausted. Drained in a way that had **nothing to do with battle wounds. Because Silas was still out there. And deep down, I knew he would return. A warm **hand touched my shoulder**,
Atlas’s POV Silas’s claws **clashed** against mine. He was **faster and stronger than I thought . And worst of all—he was **playing with me.** I could see it in his **silver eyes**, the cruel amusement beneath every dodge, every **calculated strike**. He wasn’t fighting to kill. Not yet. He was **testing me. And that terrified me more than anything. I dodged a sharp swipe aimed at my throat, twisting and landing a solid punch to his ribs. Silas barely **flinched.** Instead, he grinned. “Come on, Atlas. You were raised to be better than this.” I **growled**, shifting into my wolf form, my golden fur **bristling** under the moonlight. Silas followed instantly, his **massive** form shifting—his silver fur **darker**, almost *shadowed.* Then, before I could react— He **lunged.** His fangs **clamped down on my shoulder, pain **exploding** through me as I hit the ground hard. Damn it—**he was faster than me. I roared, kicking him off, blood **dripping** from
Rex’s POV The scent of burning wood and blood filled my lungs as the courtyard erupted into chaos. The welcome party had transformed into a battlefield within minutes, and I knew immediately this wasn’t random. This was coordinated. Planned. My claws sank into the throat of the rogue in front of me, the crunch of bone sharp beneath my grip. I threw the lifeless body aside, my golden eyes scanning the battlefield. Where was Piper? The moment the attack started, my wolf had gone insane, demanding we find her. And when I finally spotted her, A snarl tore through my throat. She was surrounded. Three rogues circled her, their growls **low and taunting. Piper’s emerald dress was torn, the fabric stained with blood some of it hers, most of it theirs.** She stood her ground, her breath heavy but steady. And in one swift movement, she sidestepped, dodging the attack before **plunging her claws into his chest. He dropped like a stone. The other two hesitated.
Kaida’s POV Laughter still echoed through the air as the celebration continued, but my focus was elsewhere. The figure in the shadows had vanished, but the unease in my chest remained. I knew peace wouldn’t last forever. **It never did.** I glanced at Atlas, who was laughing at something Axel had said, his golden eyes alight with happiness. I wanted him to have this. I wanted all of us to have this. But something was coming. And I could feel it like a storm on the horizon. As the party stretched into the late hours of the night, I decided to step away from the crowd, letting the cool night air clear my mind. The packhouse loomed in the distance, lanterns flickering against the walls. And then, just as I reached the gardens— A voice whispered from the darkness. “He’s watching." I froze, my heart slamming against my ribs. Slowly, I turned, my wolf threatening to come out when she sensed danger. "Who’s there?" I demanded, my wolf stirring uneasi
Kaida’s POV As the sky keeps getting darker it felt like **forever, things were peaceful. No wars. No betrayals. No bloodshed. Just **laughter, music, and the promise of a new beginning.** And at the center of it all? **Piper and Rex.** I never thought I’d say this, but… I was **happy for them.** Even though Rex was a possessive, arrogant, hot-headed Alpha who needed serious **social training**, I could tell he **genuinely wanted** to keep Piper by his side. And as much as Piper **pretended to fight it**, I had seen the way she looked at him when she thought no one was watching. As if, despite everything, **she was starting to want him too.** I stood behind Piper in my bedroom, carefully adjusting the fabric of her dress as she stared at herself in the mirror. Her expression was **unreadable**, her hands fidgeting slightly at her sides. "Okay, what’s that face for?" I asked, tilting my head. Piper sighed. "This just feels… weird." I arched a brow. "Weird how
Piper’s POV I had **imagined** what meeting my mate would be like. I thought it would be **soft. A slow, gradual understanding. A connection that bloomed with time, built on mutual respect. I never imagined being **dragged across the packhouse, locked in a room, and pinned against the wall by a furious Alpha with golden eyes burning into mine.** But here we were, caged in the arms of a dangerous alpha. Rex stood so **close**, his body caging me in, his presence **overwhelming**. He was **power and heat**, his golden gaze **blazing with possessiveness**. "You’re not leaving this room," he said, his voice **low, unyielding**. I stared at him, my heart **pounding against my ribs**. “You’re actually insane.” His attention was only on my lips and wonder if he heard what I said. His lips curled into something **dangerous**. “And you’re actually mine.” I sucked in a sharp breath, my hands **flat against his chest** to push him back. He didn’t move.,Not an inch
Rex’s POVWalking through Crescent Moon’s territory felt strange. It was both **familiar** and **foreign**, like the echoes of a past I had long been forced to forget. I passed the old training grounds, where Atlas and I had sparred as pups. The scent of pine and damp earth filled my nostrils, pulling me deeper into lost memories—ones I had buried beneath years of war and vengeance. But before I could sink further into the past, **something changed.** A scent. **Sweet. Addictive. Intoxicating.** My wolf **snapped to attention** so fast it nearly made me stumble. *Mate.* The word slammed through my mind like a bolt of lightning. *Mate. Mate. Let’s go to mate!* A growl rumbled in my chest as my instincts took over, leading me through the winding pathways of the packhouse. The past no longer mattered, all I want is to see her.I followed the scent, my steps quick, urgent. It led me to the grand hall, where a **welcome party** was being arranged. Laughter echoed th
