Atlas’s POV

The knock on my office door came just as I was finishing a pile of paperwork. Before I could respond, the door swung open, and in walked Alpha Miguel, his usual easygoing grin plastered across his face.

"Atlas, my friend," he said, his tone light, but his sharp eyes immediately assessed me. "You look like a man drowning in his responsibilities."

I sighed, leaning back in my chair. "Miguel, I thought we were here for a meeting, not to hear you state the obvious."

Miguel chuckled and flopped into the chair across from me, completely at ease. “Lighten up, Atlas. That permanent scowl of yours will scare off your entire pack one day. Well, maybe not Akira—she seems immune to good judgment.”

I narrowed my eyes at him, but before I could respond, the door opened again.

In sauntered Akira, her presence commanding as always. Without a word, she strode over to me, leaning down to press her lips against mine in a bold, possessive kiss. I froze, caught off guard by her audacity,

Kada’s povI stepped out of my room late at night to grab some water, but what I saw in the living room made my heart sink. My father, the legendary warrior once known as the greatest Alpha in history, sat quietly, staring at a framed picture of my mother and her wolf. It was a gift he had made for her when she was still a teenager, and the way he gazed at it, lost in thought, made me realize how much he still missed her.My mother’s loss during the attack had changed him forever. He was never the same after that, and seeing him so broken made me feel helpless. I tiptoed behind him and wrapped my arms around his broad shoulders in a comforting embrace. “Hey, princess. What are you doing up this late?” he asked gently, reaching for my hand and kissing the back of it. He pulled me onto his lap like he used to when I was a little girl. “I just came down for some water. And you? Why are you sitting here all alone, Alpha Thor?” I teased, trying to lighten the mood.He gave me a sad sm

ATLAS’S POV“Alpha, everything is in place. My father made a few calls to his old alpha friends, and they agreed to the alliance. They’ll help protect each other's borders from rogue attacks and greedy packs,” my best friend, Axel, who’s acting as my beta, reported to me.“Buddy, you know I hate it when you call me Alpha,” I said with a hint of annoyance and he chuckled.“You’re my Alpha, Atlas, and I have to give you the respect you deserve,” he replied.I shook my head, disagreeing. “You’re my equal, Axel you are an alpha too. This formality is unnecessary.” “We’re getting late for training,” he said, smoothly changing the subject. I respected his need to avoid talking about his past, which always made him uncomfortable. As soon as my wolf heard the word "training," he started pacing excitedly. He wasn’t thrilled about the training itself but about seeing our mate, the only woman destined for us. But sadly, she couldn’t feel the mate bond yet because she wasn’t of age. The mom

Kaida's povI helped my father serve dinner. "Kaida, is something wrong?" my father asked, sensing my emotions. "Dad, I'm alright," I replied, forcing a smile. Inside, I was questioning myself. Why did I feel betrayed when I saw the Alpha and Akira? Just then, Alpha Atlas walked into the dining room, carrying with him an unmistakably powerful aura. Yet, as soon as our eyes met, I felt myself getting lost in his captivating gaze, those beautiful eyes pulling me in once again."Alpha, you're here. Please, take a seat," my father said, breaking our gaze and returning me to reality. Alpha Atlas settled into the chair opposite mine. My dad and my brother Axel started chatting with him about pack matters, their laughter and cheer filling the room, while I found myself absent-mindedly playing with the fork in my hand, barely listening. "Kaida, you’re not eating. Is everything alright with you?" Axel asked, a touch of concern in his voice. My father added, "Don't you like the food

His scent was strong and alluring.Instinctively, I stepped back, feeling his imposing presence as he towered over me. “Are you okay?” he asked gently, and I nodded. ”can I talk to you?” he asked, “you are already talking to me alpha or are you here to continue with what you couldn't finish with Akira?” I asked teasingly."You're irresistible, naughty girl," he whispered, his warm breath caressing my skin. His lips danced along my neck, sending shivers down my spine."We can continue this in my chamber if you want to," he murmured, his voice husky with desire.I shook my head, “you are such a player, Do your pack members know how naughty their alpha is” I whispered. “No my love” he replied laughing “Look, Kaida,” he began, “what you saw in my room was a misunderstanding. Kaida’s pov "Kaida, we're running late for training!" my brother’s voice echoed through the hallway.I quickly sprang up from my bed, my heart racing with urgency. "Oh no, I'm going to be late!" I muttered to myself, rushing to the bathroom to quickly wash up. As a werewolf, my pack members had an uncanny ability to sniff out even the slightest change in a scent, including my arousal. I couldn't afford to draw unnecessary attention to myself, especially not today. Last night's encounter was still fresh in my mind. I couldn’t help but feel a flutter in my chest as I thought about the mysterious stranger who had pleasured me the night before. As I washed the slippery liquid in between my legs, I couldn’t help but smile. My secret lover had a way of making me feel alive and desired. "Can't wait to see you tonight, sunshine. Remember to wear the blindfold and be ready for me." a message popped up on my phone.A sly smile spread across my face as I read the words. It was so unreal.

  • My warrior mate's forbidden desire   Chapter 6

Atlas's POV I was in my office, focused on reviewing the income and expenditure reports for the pack over the past week. The numbers had to be precise, and I took pride in managing every detail that kept our pack thriving. Suddenly, a mind link interrupted my thoughts. “Alpha, Alpha Logan and his beta are here to see you,” One of the border guards reported. “Tell them to come to my office,” I replied, feeling a flicker of curiosity. Alpha Logan was the head of Oakwood Pack—and Akira’s father. His arrival was unexpected, and it puzzled me that he hadn’t informed me before crossing into our territory. As I waited, I caught their scent growing stronger, signalling they were approaching my office. Just as I was to greet them, the door swung open without a knock. Alpha Logan strode in with his beta. I frowned. The lack of respect in that simple act sparked irritation in me. I might be nineteen, but I was an alpha—a recognized one, respected and even feared by others. I

Atlas POV It had always been my dream to find my mate, make her my Luna, and rule the pack together, bound by love. But Alpha Logan’s words lingered in my mind, tugging at a part of me I couldn’t ignore. Maybe he was right—maybe attachments could weaken a leader. Still, it felt wrong. The future I’d imagined seemed to slip further away. Not long after he left, Akira burst into my office with a bright, self-assured smile. “My love, when are you setting the date for our ceremony?” she asked, her voice laced with excitement. Her words hit me hard, and I could feel a deep unease settle over me. How could I move forward with this when Kaida was my mate? Yet, I couldn’t make her my Luna because of a deal I’d made in desperation to protect the pack. “Alpha, you haven’t answered my question,” she pressed, her tone now teasing as if daring me to avoid her. “What did you say again?” I asked, hiding my frustration. “When are you going to announce the date of our marriage and offici

Kaida’s POV Throughout training, I tried to focus, to let the rhythm of my movements drown out the thoughts racing through my mind. My heart twisted painfully at the memory, each second stretching as I relived it over and over. t was ridiculous to feel this way, I told myself. But no matter how many times I swung my blade or threw a punch, I couldn’t shake the feeling that a part of me had cracked open. I was the warrior of this pack. I wasn’t supposed to feel so weak. And yet, just one look at them had left me breathless, my confidence shaken. Could he really have feelings for her? didn't he tell me he had nothing doing with her? The thought clawed at me, leaving an ache in my chest. I threw a punch harder than necessary, letting the impact send a tremor up my arm. Maybe this was foolish. Maybe I was letting my heart get ahead of me. But in t

Atlas's POV The corridors of the Crescent Moon Pack’s estate were eerily quiet as I made my way to my grandmother’s quarters. The air was heavy, and my chest tightened with every step. Confronting Lady Seraphina wasn’t something I ever took lightly—she was as immovable as the mountains that surrounded our territory. But for Kaida, I had no choice. I knocked once before stepping inside. The room was exactly as I remembered: filled with ornate furniture and the lingering scent of lavender. Lady Seraphina sat by the window, her sharp eyes narrowing as they landed on me. “Atlas,” she greeted coolly, setting down the book she’d been reading. “What brings you here at this hour?” I closed the door behind me, taking a deep breath. “We need to talk, Grandmother.” Her lips twitched into a faint smirk. “I assumed as much. Go on, then.” I straightened, my voice firm. “It’s about Kaida.” Her expression hardened immediately, and she waved a hand dismissively. “Ah, the girl. What of

Atlas's POV I was standing by the edge of the training grounds, the setting sun casting long shadows across the field. The warriors were dispersing, their laughter and chatter filling the air. My focus was elsewhere, lost in a storm of thoughts that had been brewing for days. Kaida. Her name alone stirred something within me—something I couldn’t ignore no matter how hard I tried. The guilt was a constant weight, and yet, I had done nothing to ease it. “Alpha Atlas,” a voice called out, pulling me from my thoughts. I turned to see Axel approaching, his strides purposeful, his expression hard. There was no trace of the usual camaraderie he showed during training; this was a man on a mission. “Axel,” I greeted, keeping my tone neutral. “What brings you here?” He stopped a few feet away, his piercing gaze locking onto mine. “We need to talk,” he said, his voice low but firm. I nodded, gesturing for him to continue. Axel didn’t mince words. “I know, Atlas. I know

  • My warrior mate's forbidden desire   Chapter 19

Kaida's pov When Atlas was younger, barely out of his teens, his parents passed, leaving the pack vulnerable. It was my father, Alpha Thor, who had stepped in as an advisor and protector, ensuring that Atlas’s transition to Alpha was swift and unchallenged. My father had been instrumental in securing the alliances and support that kept Atlas’s pack strong during its most vulnerable time. But time was a cruel mistress, and memories faded. Lady Seraphina, blinded by her own selfish ambitions, chose to overlook my father’s sacrifices. Instead, she saw only his fall from power—a man who had lost his pack and his mate, and by extension, a daughter who no longer bore the title of princess. Her preference for Akira became glaringly obvious. Akira, who came from a pack that still held its strength, was a convenient choice. She was polished, poised, and willing to play the role of the perfect Luna contrast to me, with my tarnished family history. --- One evening, as I sat with

  • My warrior mate's forbidden desire   Chapter 18

The return of Alpha Atlas’s grandmother, Lady Seraphina, caused quite a stir within the pack. Known for her formidable reputation and traditional views, Lady Seraphina was a figure of authority and respect. Her presence alone seemed to weigh heavily on everyone, including me, though I hadn’t even met her yet. Rumors spread quickly, as they always did, and I soon heard the whispers: Akira had been the one to convince Lady Seraphina to return. She had portrayed herself as the perfect Luna candidate—a strong, capable woman who could lead alongside Atlas. Worse, I heard my name tangled in the stories Akira had spun. “She seduced both Atlas and Miguel,” one pack member whispered to another as I walked past. “Can you believe it? No wonder the alphas are at odds. A girl like that has no place here.” “It’s disgraceful,” someone else murmured. “Lady Seraphina won’t tolerate it, that’s for sure.” The weight of their words bore down on me, and no matter how hard I tried to ignore them, the

Kaida’s pov The afternoon sun blazed over the training grounds as I finished stacking the last of the practice weapons. I had just started to walk back toward the pack house when Akira stormed toward me, her face twisted in anger. Her usually perfect composure was nowhere to be found, and her steps were as fiery as her expression. “Kaida!” she snapped, her voice cutting through the chatter of nearby warriors. Heads turned, and conversations halted as everyone watched her approach me with unmistakable fury. I stopped in my tracks, my instincts immediately on high alert. “Akira,” I said, my voice steady, though my stomach churned. “What’s this about?” She didn’t bother with pleasantries, her finger jabbing toward me as she closed the distance. “This is about *you*,” she hissed. “About how you’ve managed to ruin everything.” I frowned, crossing my arms defensively. “I have no idea what you’re talking about.” “Don’t play dumb with me!” Akira snapped, her tone dripping wit

Kaida's pov As the crowd began to disperse, the buzz of excitement still hanging in the air, Atlas turned his attention to Miguel. His movements were deliberate, his expression unreadable, but the tension radiating from him was palpable. Miguel, ever the picture of calm confidence, noticed Atlas approaching and smirked knowingly, leaning casually against a nearby tree. "Alpha Miguel," Atlas said, his voice low but firm. “We need to talk.” Miguel raised an eyebrow, the grin never leaving his face. “Oh? And what could be so important, Alpha Atlas, that you can’t say it in front of everyone?” The warriors nearby began to slow their movements, sensing the shift in the atmosphere. Though they didn’t linger outright, many stayed within earshot, their curiosity piqued. Atlas stepped closer, his tone dropping even lower, meant only for Miguel. “I’ll make this clear: stay away from Kaida.” Miguel laughed, a sound that carried just enough volume to draw more attention. “Stay away f

Kaida’s pov The sparring session began in full swing, and the warriors paired off to test their skills. I was quick to find my footing, slipping into the focused mindset that training demanded. Every move, every strike, was deliberate and controlled. I’d just finished pinning one of the senior warriors when I noticed Miguel standing off to the side, arms crossed, watching me with an expression that could only be described as pure awe. His lips curved into a grin as I straightened, brushing dirt off my hands. “Kaida, you didn’t tell me you were this lethal,” he called out, his voice loud enough to turn a few heads. I shot him a pointed look, heat creeping up my neck. “I’m just doing my job, Miguel.” “Your job?” He laughed, clearly enjoying himself. “No, this is a performance. I should be charging admission!” His playful tone earned a few chuckles from the onlookers, but I ignored the attention, turning my focus back to the next opponent. Miguel didn’t let up, thou

Kaida's pov The rest of the day passed in a haze. I couldn’t stop replaying the moment in the restroom—the way Atlas’s kiss had set me on fire and how my slap had barely fazed him. His words haunted me: “Don’t tell me you didn’t enjoy it, Kaida.” I hated how much truth there was in that statement. As the final bell rang, I gathered my things, ready to bolt from the school and away from the chaos of my emotions. But as I stepped into the courtyard, I froze. Standing by the school gates was Alpha Miguel, his tall figure unmistakable, his aura commanding as ever. Miguel. The sight of him made my breath catch. He leaned casually against his sleek black car, dressed impeccably as usual, his dark eyes scanning the crowd. When he spotted me, his lips curved into a warm, confident smile that sent butterflies fluttering in my stomach. “Kaida!” he called, his deep voice cutting through the noise around us. Every head in the vicinity turned, and whispers began to spread like w
