chapter 2 (FATAL TRAGEDY II)

The next morning some of Benjamin and Tasha's relatives that heard the news start rushing down to the hospital to confirm what they heard on the News. Among them is Letticia who was throwing tantrums at the family of Tasha.

Leticia stop all these your tantrums this is hospital. cautioned her immediately, we need to see the doctor and obtain the death certificate for the both of them first then we proceed on how to arrange for the burial.Dale suggested.

I knew it! I knew she was good for nothing the self-acclaimed socialite woman she never have time for her family parties parties parties all the time! 

Letticia put yourself together or I will have them throw you out. Benjamin elder brother, Jones Adams yelled at her. 

while the both families prepare to move the corpses of Tasha and Benjamin out of the hospital a private mortuary. they were deliberating on where to bury the both of them but the meeting ends with disagreement between both families. Jones Adams just ask them to meet the next day at Benjamin's home to finalize the meeting.

Lola's eye was swollen and red like flame, she didn't even care about her appearance, she took Niyola to the ward where Franca was transferred after a successful surgery at midnight. she stood outside the ward watching Franca on the life support machine. when a something struck her mind to immediately go to the Adams house to get all her jewelries and other documents as the late Tasha had instruct her to do.

some minutes later she arrived at Tasha's residences and went Straight to where she told to find her jewelries box and her other files, she quickly pick it up and exit the premises. on her way out of the estate she saw Benjamin relatives heading towards their late brother house probably to prepare for the burial. she pulled up by the roadside and kept monitoring them from the rear mirror to know what they will do next.  

few minutes later, she saw a logistics truck heading towards the gate with Letticia's car tailing the truck they stop at gate.. in matter of time they moved out all the household items. Jones instruct his boys to start driving out the cars. Benjamin may be an introvert but he does have a taste for luxury things.

The family moved every expensive household items they could lay there hand on including kitchen wares and clothes. Lola sat still in her car recording everything from a distance on the camcorder. after about two hours of intense raiding, Jones and others hesitantly exit the premises, Since the Benjamin don't have domestic worker living in their estate, nobody will know if Lola had entered the mansion or not.Lola knew she had to be strong for the sake of her best friend, but she started having feeling that there's more battle to fight to protect Niyola.

Lola went back to the hospital to discharge Niyola since she is fine, They started driving home from the hospital. Lola kept asking about her parents. when they drive past the place the accident took place , Niyola who was looking out from the car said. aunty Lola I know my mommy and papa die yesterday, she appear to me when I was sleeping that you will take care of me and I will always win no matter what. is my mommy an angel now?

Lola pulled up by the road side. this time she could not summon the courage to drive any further, she phone her husband and tell him where her driver will come and pick her up. the driver picked them up, when the got home she ask the maid to prepare an extra bed for Niyola in Daniella's room.

the next day,

the both family met at benjamins premises they had a meeting, Lola and her husband also took Niyola to the meeting. Tasha's family did not even care about how Benjamin's family raided their junior sister's matrimonial home, they just want her to be laid to rest. 

ahem...Jones clears his throat and stood up. I will not take our time here, I just have two points to make. firstly The service of songs and the burial will take place next week from Wednesday and they will be buried on Friday.

and lastly, I want to know if anyone of us here know if anyone from our in-law family came here yesterday? he paused for while and scan his around. he continue. "because the estate security told me someone entered into this house yesterday but he didn't give me further details of the person. so I want to who came here yesterday.

is that all you have to say? Rebecca, Tasha's sister asked him.

yes, do you have an answer to my question? Jones asked her back. 

No I don't have an answer to your question. if you will excuse me I have better thing to attend to. Rebecca said standing up 

Lola and jasper also left with Niyola. leaving Benjamin's family behind in the house. Lola took Niyola to check on Franca, because the doctor called earlier that she is out of coma.

Lola picked Niyola up in her arm and head towards Franca's Ward. immediately Niyola spot her lying down on the bed with an amputated right hand she furrowed her eyebrows. aunty Franca where is your hand? are you hiding your hand from me .

Franca was touched and eyes became glassy. No I am not hiding my hands from you, the doctor cut it away to save my life.

Niyola didn't understand what was going on but she vaguely remember the scene how Franca fought to protect her. 

aunty Franca I am the reason why the doctor cut your hand . 

Franca shook her head. No my baby girl.

ermm..ermm....will you hate me now aunty Franca? Niyola asked again holding Franca's thumb finger.

I will love you and protect you. I can not hate you.because your mom is a sweet lady. 

my mommy and papa has gone up to meet God, Franca's shot a questioning glance at Lola when Niyola mentioned her parents didn't survive.

Lola just took a deep breath and nod her head slowly. Franca broke down in tears and look up again at Lola, where are they?
