Chapter Four, Taking care of a crazy blind girl

"Your older sister has really lost her brain...she's just giving us trouble... Sheila!!"

Yusa couldn't bear to see the harsh treatment given to Dinar by the mother and child.

Yusa wanted to help but the housemaid held his hand.

"Don't....this is normal..." she said.

For some reason, Yusa felt sorry for seeing Dinar being beaten and then now her body was being dragged across the floor... put in a room and then chained.

Yusa widened his eyes when he saw a long chain tied to the bed and there was a large padlock to lock Dinar's feet.

"Wait, madam..." Yusa held Andini's hand which was about to chain her stepdaughter.

" who are you?!"

" I'm Yusa who will apply to be Miss Dinar's nurse."

Sheila, who had just realized Yusa's presence, looked at the young man's appearance from top to bottom... a mocking smile appeared on Sheila's lips.

"Oh, it's appropriate to apply to be Dinar's nurse... it turns out he's just a villager..."

Yusa wanted to argue, he didn't accept being called a villager but the clothes he was wearing were ugly.

Andini didn't care, she kept chaining Dinar's legs, then pressed the blind woman's chin and held her cheek.

"You heard... there is another person who wants to be your nurse but this time he is a poor man." Mrs Andini said pressingly.

Dinar reached out to scratch Mrs. Andini's arm but then Mrs. Andini hit Dinar's cheek so hard that the woman fell to the bed.

"Stupid girl...how dare you scratch my arm!!...do you want me to break your arm!?"

" Mrs!!" Yusa held Andini's arm which was about to twist Dinar's arm.

"You really dare to stop me!!" she snapped.

"Miss Dinar will be my responsibility, Madam... I can't possibly let her get hurt..."

Sheila and Andini were angry, they looked at Yusa with hostile eyes, but the arrival of a male leader in the family made the tension subside.

" What is this!?"

The man looked at Yusa then at his wife and two daughters...he was Fajar Sugiono, the owner of this house.

"Why is there so much noise in Dinar's room?!"

Yusa saw Sheila approaching her father and hugging the man spoiled... Yusa thought this woman was good at acting.

"Dad... Dinar ran away from her room... she wanted to harm Romlah's maid by beating her with her blind stick... if mommy and I don't come soon then Romlah's maid could die... so we were forced to chain Dinar's feet again."

Yusa was nervous at Fajar Sugiono looked at him with sharp eyes.

"Why are you in my daughter's room?! Who are you!?"

"He's the person who wants to apply to be Miss Dinar's nurse... sir..." explained Romlah's maid.

"This person wants to be Dinar's nurse??"

Because he didn't want to be looked down upon, Yusa immediately explained himself, "I can take care of all Miss Dinar's needs and I can be patient."

"Even fifteen nurses are already bored with this crazy child... how can you take care of her?!"

"I will survive, sir."

Yusa showed his seriousness and looked at Fajar Sugiono's eyes firmly without hesitation.

"Just throw this young man out, dear..." Andini suggested because she felt that Yusa would be a stumbling block for her.

Not only has he become Dinar's nurse, Yusa has the courage to disobey and fight.

What if the man becomes a nurse for Dinar the blind??...then Andini is sure that Yusa will act up even more.

"Leave Dinar alone and you, Romlah's maid, lock the door to Dinar's room... don't let this crazy girl come out of her room."

" Yes sir.."

After ordering Romlah's servant, Yusa saw Fajar Sugiono walking out but his hand motioned for him to follow the man.

"You come with me now"

Yusa followed the man and saw Dinar's empty face staring out the window outside.

Yusa shook his head slightly, Dinar's face was very beautiful but she couldn't see and had a bad temper.

"What a poor girl," Yusa thought, regretting Dinar's condition.

When Yusa sat in the living room, he was shown a frightening view of the head of the Sugiono family.

Fajar asked for his identity card, letters and asked about his work experience.

"I previously worked as an office boy for two years, sir."

"You don't have a criminal record??"

"no sir"

"Why do you want to be my daughter's nurse!?"

Yusa sighed, it seemed like he had to tell the truth if he now needed a place to live and also a large salary to pay off debts.

"I just got fired, sir.. I need a place to stay.. I also have a debt to pay."

" Ck..ck.. it turns out you just want to live for a living..." Sheila sneered contemptuously.

Yusa didn't want to take Sheila's words to heart... he just swallowed bitterly because he needed a definite place to live rather than sleeping on the streets.

"Sign this contract...you can work starting today."

Without saying much, Yusa immediately signed the contract...he didn't suspect that Fajar Sugiono had other intentions.

"Romlah's maid will show you your room... remember you have to look after Dinar properly."

Yusa nodded obediently, after that he saw Fajar Sugiono go to the second floor and Andini, his wife following the man from behind... only Sheila was left in the living room to see him.

"Now your job is to take care of that crazy woman.. don't mess around and bother me.. I don't want you to get close and steal the opportunity to seduce me.. I know you're handsome but I don't want to be with a poor young man and I'm definitely not a woman. fool you can get close to!!”

Sheila stomped her feet away, while Yusa just shook his head, "Who else likes a woman like her?" Yusa thought, looking at Sheila's back with a hateful look... not happy to see the woman's arrogant nature.

"Yusa.."

Yusa turned around when Romlah's maid suddenly called him.

"Yes," Yusa answered kindly.

"Come with me...I'll take you to the room..."

Yusa was taken to the back near the warehouse.. a small room measuring six by five square meters which he will occupy from now on.

"This is the room... it's a bit dirty and dusty because it hasn't been cleaned yet..."

"It's okay... this is more than enough..."

"I'll go first, okay.."
