I asked then I sat up on the bed. "You know what? I know what to do," I whispered back kissing his lips fast and jumping down from the bed without waiting for his response. With my legs shaking slightly, I roll under the bed.

"You know what? I'll just take my food upstairs. I don't want to eat here anymore. Thanks," I said, dragging my chair backward as I stood up, packing my food and in my hands and excusing myself with a forced smile spread across my face and a look of surprise on my mom's face.
