Chapter 5

In a twinkle of an eye, a week had gone by and Jane had been invited to visit the palace for a dinner. 

She wore a blue fitting dress that fit so well with her light fair skin and a tiny diamond necklace which matched with her curly black hairs. Though her hair wasn't entirely black, some parts were white at the sides which was common among all wolves in her pack but the pattern may be different.

She was led to the palace by her father and they chatted on the way. 

The palace had a very big gate protecting it. Jane stood in front of the magnificent gate lost in thoughts.

"Jane?, This is where I leave you. Please don't ruin it by doing anything rash. He patted her shoulder and left her.

Jane watched her father leave untill he was out of sight. She turned towards the gate and gave a loud knock. The guards already knew that they were expecting a guest. He opened the gate immediately after seeing a beautiful lady whom he knew instantly was the prince's new mate.

She was ushered in by some maids who were already assigned to do so by the queen while some guards went immediately to announce her arrival. 

Originally, Jane had never been to the alpha King's castle before so she was struck down with a sense of awesomeness because of how neately decorated the castle is and it was extremely magnificent from the outside.

A sense to explore the building came to her but she didn't want to act so foolish by making it look as though she had never seen a beautiful building. Although her little home wasn't that big but it was neat and beautiful. The only difference is that the one she is in right now is way more expensive and decorated mostly with silvers which can be easily guessed was made for protection. Though silver were extremely beautiful gems, it's also a weapon against the vampires, one of their greatest enemies. 

"Ooh what an astonishing beauty, I'm glad you made it." The king himself attended to Jane and caught her off guard as she was still exploring the fancy things in the castle with her eyes. 

"Everything here would soon belong to you too very soon". He walked to her and held her by her arm, leading her towards the dinning table which was located at the middle of the castle. "But for now my dear come and dine with us because you are now part of the royal family. My wife and son are waiting already."

She responded with a light nod that could be barely noticed and followed the king to the dinning who was still holding her.

At the dinning*

"George dear, I know you didn't bargain for all this but please try to treat her nicely, George's mom said while adjustting the Cutleries.

Shortly, the door was pushed open by the guards. The king walked in along side Jane. 

"We are here!! The king smiled.

"Take a sit dear, the queen said gesturing for her to sit close to her. 

George didn't bother looking at her. Jessica was still in his heart. He just kept looking at his food. 

Jane also didn't bother taking a look at him. She felt as though the nice treatment given to her was all because they need her else they would show of their authority. After all, that what they are good at. Only treat you nice when they need you else the class gap is large.

Jane sat down close to the queen, facing directly opposite George. 

"Alright then, let's dish and eat" the king said, lifting up his cutlery. "I'm hungry.

Just then, George raised his head up and his gaze fell on Jane. Jane who was about to pick up her cutlery also looked at George. 

Feelings were building up inside both of them. They stared at each other for a while.

"Mate!!! They both yelled at the same time. On hearing that, the king choked on his food. The queen also looked at them puzzled. 

Jane didn't understand why and how but Elsa had started going crazy inside her. The straw berry scent he had was putting her in a state of lust. 

George's wolf, Elvis also began to jubilate. He had waited for so long and he was beginning to grow weak and sad. The thought of him not having a mate was depressing and his sickness that has proven to have no cure made matters worst.

Though it was obvious that they were mate, George didn't seem impressed. He felt rather puzzled. He still has strong feelings for Jessica and it still hurts him that she was not his mate. Although, Jessica's beauty could not be compared to that of Jane. 

Jane is an alpha, a strong Hunter and warrior though very young but Jessica on the other hand happens to be an Omega. The one reason George loves her was due to the fact that she was very submissive. 

"Wow!! How surprising", the alpha king dropped his spoon, spread his arm as though he wanted to hug the air. "You both happen to be mate!!! How splendid". 

"Hahaha, the queen laughed. "And here you were George, feeling all sad. Who would have known that your grandfather could tell the future". She felt happy and thought her son won't have to fight against the idea of marrying Jane anymore. It was obvious that it had been destined. 

Jane on the other hand was speechles. She wasn't agreeing wit her wolf at all. Being an alpha who had been training since she was seven, she could smell he was weak, sad and depressed. She felt pity for him but yet she didn't want to be part of it. 'why would my wolf betray me like this', she thought to herself.

Both of them couldn't bring themselves to show their discomfort seeing that both the Alpha king and his Luna were extremely happy.
