Lexi’s pov

As we got closer to the mansion my concern over my leg grew.

Why wasn't the injury healing, I wondered.

I asked Lenny and he thought maybe it was due to my father's unique genetic makeup.

“I can check on it when we get back to your room,” he said firmly and I nodded, trusting the bloodsucker.

Lenny traversed up to the rear of the home and opened a slim door that looked like a normal piece of trim.

“You'll have to hop through it. I can't carry you through the narrow space,” he informed me with a frown.

“It's alright I can manage but let me enter my room first so I can divert my servant,” I sighed and hopped into the narrow wooden space.

Pressed up against Lenny he grinned and told me to be as quiet as possible because the ones on the other side of the wall could hear us and vice versa.

Nodding, I told him I would be quiet.

Gazing up at him with my wolf eyes to see in the darkness I saw the red eye shine in his.

“Keep moving or I'm going to kiss you,” he stated firmly.
