Chapter fifty-four

Being back in Jacksonville permanently felt good, felt like home.

But looking for a new home a new job, was a different story.

No one wanted to hire someone who up and left the last job without notice.

I might have savings built up, but now one wanted to rent me a home much less take out a mortgage with out a job.

All I wanted was a cute little house, a big yard, in a good school district. 

Why did that have to be so hard?

Stress on top of stress doesn't bode well for me.

Not knowing where things stood with David and I also stressed me out.

That night in California, it seemed like everything was coming together. But since we've been home we haven't spoken much about us.
