Tessa’s POV
Great, not only did I force Joseph out of his private shell and write a very public article about him, but now I’m forcing him into presenting him publicly as Joseph Evergreen, a famous writer. He was never going to forgive me after I told him that I agreed to this. It’s not like I could say no. Not with the way Megan was staring at me.
All the other girls were waiting for me to crack; I was under a surreal amount of pressure. I was glad he wasn’t home when I got home because I wasn’t sure how I was going to tell him about this. However, I was smacked in the face with the most delicious-smelling foods as soon as I entered the living room.
My stomach was growling furiously, and I already knew before I entered the kitchen that Patty and Claira were cooking dinner.
