The two of them went flying through the window, one after the other.

The other human women were staring at me once more.

"It seems you've adjusted to life here quite quickly."

"Why not? He's tall, handsome, strong, powerful, and loyal. He dotes on me and works hard to live in peace. Why wouldn't I want to adapt?"

I couldn't understand what their problem was.

Seeing their lips turn up in scorn, I couldn't help but let out a sign.

"The only downside to this situation is that there are so many decent men to choose from, that it's hard to make up your mind."

After all, with so many good men around, it was hard not to feel flustered whenever one looked my way.

Although, with how small our human figures were, it was important not to bite off more than we could chew.

Before long, Isaiah returned.

"I'm sorry, Maria, I didn't kill him."

"That's quite alright, I just wanted you to scare him away," I said.

He was such a handsome fox, it would be a shame if he were truly to die.
