Chapter Twenty-Four: A Guardian Angel in White Coat

"Eliza, is your mother mentally, verbally and emotionally abusing you?"

Eliza was taken by surprise after hearing Dr. Lee's question. During her mother's time at the hospital, she and the doctor always talks about her mother's health condition, and this is the very first time he asked about her own condition.
