EMMA'S POV

It wasn’t long after Simeon and I had finished talking when I heard my name. Aunt Grace was calling. The urgency in her voice startled me, and I felt my heart tighten. “Emma, come quickly,” she said, her words filled with tension. I didn’t hesitate. My feet carried me to the living room where Aunt Grace sat, looking perfectly fine on the couch.

“What’s wrong?” I asked, breathless and panicked.

Aunt Grace shook her head, her expression calm. “Nothing’s wrong with me,” she said, her tone almost dismissive. “But you might want to look at this.” She gestured toward the TV with the remote in her hand.

I followed her gaze and froze when I saw the headline plastered across the screen:

“Emma Trenton Caught Cheating to Ruin Her Husband’s Life.”

My legs wobbled as if they couldn’t bear my weight anymore. The words on the screen felt like knives stabbing me repeatedly. My breath caught in my throat, and a wave of dizziness washed over me.

Aunt Grace’s voice seemed distant as she asked

VERONICA'S POVThe question on everyone’s lips was, “Who is Veronica Stacy?” Since Simeon’s explosive interview, where he revealed my name to the world, the media had been in a frenzy. Overnight, I had become the most talked-about woman in the country, and not in a good way. The headlines were relentless, the gossip unforgiving.“Daniel Trenton: Cheating Billionaire or Wronged Husband?”“Veronica Stacy: The Woman Behind the Scandal.”“Husband Snatcher or Innocent Victim?”Photos of Daniel and me flooded the internet. There we were, holding hands in a restaurant, walking together in the park, and the most damning of all—a picture of Daniel kissing my cheek during one of our secret dates. Those moments, once private and intimate, now felt like evidence against me.The world was painting me as the villain, the woman destroying the Trenton marriage. I hated it. I never wanted this kind of attention. I had dreamed of being known, yes, but not like this. Not as the other woman.Staying indo

EMMA'S POV Leaving the house was no longer an option for me. Every time I thought about stepping outside, the weight of people's judgment held me back. The situation between me, Daniel, Simeon, and that husband snatcher Veronica had made me a prisoner in my aunt’s house. The last time I attempted to go out, I regretted it immediately. It happened at the supermarket. I had gone there to buy some foodstuff, thinking it would be a simple errand. The moment I walked in, I could feel the stares. Whispers grew louder, and before long, the comments began.“It’s because of women like you that most men don’t want to get married,” a man sneered as I walked past him. I kept my head high and ignored him, pretending his words didn’t sting. But it didn’t end there. A few aisles later, another man approached me. At first, he seemed uncertain, glancing between me and his phone.“It’s you… wow,” he said, sounding almost impressed. For a moment, I thought he might say something sensible, maybe even ki

EMMA'S POVThe feelings I had for Simeon were no longer something I could ignore. Every text message, every video call, only made me want more. I didn’t just want to see him through a screen or hear his voice over the phone—I wanted him here, beside me. I wanted to feel his presence. This morning, I decided to act on my desire. I sent him my aunt’s house address. For the past week, I’d convinced myself that the only reason he hadn’t come over was that he didn’t know where I lived. After the text message, I finally received reply:"I’m on my way."I couldn’t believe it. He was coming. My heart raced as I paced the living room, nervously glancing at the mirror to make sure I looked okay. When I finally heard the knock on the door, my heart nearly stopped.I opened the door and there he was, standing tall, looking effortlessly handsome. His smile was warm, and his eyes held that familiar kindness that had always drawn me to him.“Hi, Simeon,” I said, squeezing my fists behind my back to

SIMEON'S POVThree days after I bought forty percent of Pixel Forge Studios’ shares, Daniel showed up at my office. I wasn’t surprised; I knew he’d try to get them back. What did surprise me was his approach. He walked in with a confident air, as if he already knew how the conversation would end. I offered him a glass of wine, which he accepted, but his focus wasn’t on the drink.“I’ll pay you twice what you paid for the shares,” he said without hesitation.I leaned back in my chair, keeping my expression neutral. “I’m not interested in the offer,” I replied firmly. He took a sip of the wine, studying me. “What about three times the price?”“Daniel, I’m not interested in your money,” I said, trying to keep my tone civil. “Don’t you get that?”He chuckled softly, placing the glass on my desk. “Why do I have this feeling that this isn’t about business? Is this your way of retaliating for me taking Veronica from you?”The mention of her name made my chest tighten, but I refused to give h

EMMA'S POVWhen my phone rang, I was still half-asleep. My hand fumbled around on the bed until I found it. I didn’t need to check the screen to know who it was; the voice on the other end was enough.“Good morning, dear,” Simeon greeted. With my eyes barely open, I mumbled back, “Good morning.”“Are you still asleep?” he asked, and I finally opened my eyes to check the time. It was 11 a.m.“Nope, I’m awake,” I lied, sitting up and brushing my hair back.“How was your night?” I asked, trying to sound cheerful.“Bad,” he admitted, his tone heavy. “I couldn’t stop thinking about what happened yesterday. The world now thinks I’m secretly involved in drugs.”The pain in his voice hit me hard. “I’m so sorry, Simeon,” I said softly, wishing I could take his pain away. “All this will end soon.”“How? DANIEL'S POVI was on my laptop, going through some emails when a notification popped up. A new mail. It had been months since I received one on this device, so my curiosity got the better of me. I clicked on it, half-expecting another spam message, but my heart stopped when I saw the content. It was a court summons. Emma was filing for a divorce.“What?” I shouted, my voice echoing through the room. The door burst open, and Veronica rushed in. “What’s up, baby?” she asked, her tone laced with concern.I was still staring at the screen, reading and rereading the message to ensure I wasn’t imagining things.“Daniel, what is going on?” Veronica pressed, moving closer.I finally turned to her, my face flushed with anger and disbelief. “Emma… she’s taking me to court. She wants a divorce!”Veronica’s eyes widened in surprise. “Oh my God,” she whispered. “So, what are you planning to do?”“I don’t know!” I snapped, pacing around the room. “This can’t happen. EMMA'S POVI couldn’t believe what I had just heard. The judge had declared, with absolute finality, that Daniel had no properties and owed me nothing. Nothing. No properties, no money—nothing to show for years of building a life together."Daniel, one of the richest men in New York City, has no properties? How is that even possible?" I whispered to myself, disbelief coursing through me as I watched him standing before the judge. My mind reeled. What about Trenton Corp? Who owns it? I needed answers, but they weren’t coming fast enough. As the proceedings wrapped up, Veronica approached me with a smug smile. "Thanks for making all of this happen," she said, her tone dripping with mock gratitude. "I will forever be grateful." And just like that, she turned and walked away, leaving me rooted to the spot, stunned. From where I stood, I caught a glimpse of Daniel. He looked… off. SIMEON'S POVThis afternoon, I was at one of my companies in Brooklyn, reviewing some reports. It was a busy day, but the thought of Emma possibly visiting had me looking forward to a pleasant break. She mentioned she might stop by, and I couldn’t wait to see her.My secretary entered the office, saying I had a visitor. "Show her in," I said with a smile, already assuming it was Emma. But when the door opened, it wasn’t Emma. It was Veronica. The sight of her froze me in place. I hadn’t seen Veronica in years, not since she walked out of my life, leaving me to pick up the pieces. Yet, here she was, standing in my office like nothing had happened. My mind raced back to our history, the moments we shared, and the pain of her betrayal.“What are you doing here, Veronica?” I asked, my voice sharper than I intended.“Hi, Simeon,” she said casually, as if we were old friends catching up. She walked in confidently, smiling in that way she always did when she wanted something. She sat down wi

SIMEON'S POV It had been six days since the news broke. The headlines were brutal: “Simeon Grant: The Thief in a Suit.” Everywhere I turned, people whispered, stared, or outright accused me. My wealth, once admired, was now questioned. Was everything I had earned tainted? Daniel had managed to weaponize the truth and manipulate the narrative to turn New York against me.I couldn’t even blame him entirely. Ninety percent of what he said was true. He laid it all out, sparing no detail. Daniel explained how he transferred his properties to Veronica to shield them during his messy divorce with Emma. He even exposed how Veronica refused to return his assets once their arrangement ended. The public ate it up, especially since rumors about Veronica’s sudden control over Trenton Corp had been swirling for weeks. Now, they had their answer, and I was the scapegoat. That night, as I sat on Judith's couch, my phone rang. It was Emma. Her name on the screen sent a wave of guilt through me. After

SIMEON'S POV After leaving the restaurant, the argument with Emma kept playing in my mind. I had hoped for a different outcome, but her words struck me harder than I cared to admit. Still, my resolve hadn’t wavered. Daniel had to pay for what he did, and I was ready to take what mattered most to him, Trenton Corp. My feelings for Emma wouldn’t stop me from exacting my revenge. As my driver maneuvered through the quiet streets, I pulled out my phone and dialed Veronica. She picked up after the first ring."Hello, Veronica. Are you home?""Yes, I am," she replied, her tone hinting at anticipation."Good. I’ll be there in ten minutes."Hanging up, I leaned back in my seat, my thoughts already drifting to what awaited me at Veronica's place. A text notification flashed across my phone screen. It was from Judith.Judith: I have a surprise for you tonight.I smirked. It was obvious what she meant. If she wanted to play, I’d indulge her after finishing my business with Veronica. When I arri

  • My Unfaithful Lover   Chapter 41: A QUESTION OF LOVE

EMMA'S POVWhen Simeon and I arrived at the restaurant, the serene environment eased some of the tension between us. It was quiet and cool, the kind of place where you could have a meaningful conversation without distractions. We placed our orders, and soon enough, the food arrived. For a while, everything seemed normal. We ate in silence, savoring the calmness of the moment. Then, Simeon suddenly stopped eating, his fork hanging mid-air as if he had just remembered something important.“So, you know that Veronica wants me to believe that you had something to do with my stabbing?” he asked, his tone calm but serious.I froze, unsure of what to say at first. “What?” I finally managed, shocked by his words.“She told me that you knew about it,” he added, his voice filled with doubt.I leaned back in my chair, shaking my head in disbelief. “Do you know she got me arrested, Simeon? My arrest bought her enough time to move you out of the hospital before I could do anything,” I said, my voi

  • My Unfaithful Lover   Chapter 40: A DEAL WITH TEMPTATION

SIMEON'S POV I hated myself for lying to Emma. I looked into her eyes and told her I didn’t sleep with Judith when I knew I had. It was a cowardly move, but I wasn’t ready to face the consequences of the truth. Emma’s trust was already fragile, and I couldn’t bear to break it completely. Still, the guilt weighed on me, and every time I thought about it, I felt disgusted with myself. The truth is, Judith’s visit to my house wasn’t planned. She came uninvited, dressed in a way that left nothing to the imagination. Ever since I bought forty percent of Pixel Forge Studios, Judith had been finding ways to get my attention. She didn’t even try to hide it anymore. At work, she used to wear professional, modest outfits, but later, she’d begun showing off her figure. I had noticed her curves, the way her blouses hugged her body, and the way she moved with a deliberate purpose. I tried to ignore it, but some part of me was tempted. When Judith touched me in front of Veronica, it shook me. Her

EMMA'S POV Finally, my app was ready. It had taken weeks of sleepless nights, endless trials, and rejections before it became perfect. Today was the day I’d present it to the team and stakeholders that I later sold ten percent of the company out to. I couldn’t deny that I felt proud. This app was going to change lives and bring people together. As I stood in front of the room, the presentation about to begin, the door suddenly opened, and there he was, Simeon. All eyes turned to him as he walked in, his presence commanding attention. My heart raced, and I hated that I felt a spark of joy. While everyone stood to welcome him back, I remained rooted, staring at him. He didn’t break eye contact as he walked straight toward me. Before I could comprehend what was happening, he pulled me into a kiss, right there in front of everyone.“I missed you so much,” he whispered.I didn’t respond. I couldn’t. The man who had disappeared for weeks, stayed with another woman, and left me in a sea of

  • My Unfaithful Lover   Chapter 38: TEMPTATION IN THE ROOM

VERONICA'S POVIt was an ordinary afternoon when one of my security guards informed me that a lady named Judith was waiting at the gate. I frowned, puzzled by her unexpected appearance. I don’t have any business with Judith anymore. Why is she here? I thought. Despite my confusion, I gave the order, “Walk her in.”Moments later, Judith strolled into my living room, and what she was wearing left me speechless. She had on a short, tight gown that hugged her curves in all the wrong—or right—ways, depending on who was looking. Her hips swayed with every step, and her breasts was practically on full display. Her nipples pressed visibly against the fabric, leaving nothing to the imagination.“Good afternoon,” Judith said with a sugary sweetness that made my stomach churn. I heard her words, but my attention was trapped by her bold appearance. She even cleared her throat to grab my attention further, forcing me to look up at her face.“What are you doing here, Judith?” I asked, doing my best

  • My Unfaithful Lover   Chapter 37: FIXING THE UNFIXABLE

JUDITH'S POV When Veronica knocked on my door two weeks ago, I never imagined how much my life would change. I was already at my lowest point, battling a serious health crisis with my mom. She needed surgery, and the cost was more than I could ever afford, even with my high-paying job. No one seemed willing to help, and I had exhausted all my options. Then, Veronica showed up like a miracle—although I’d soon realize she was anything but. The first words out of her mouth caught me completely off guard: "I need your help, and I’ll pay you any amount you want." My heart skipped a beat. Veronica’s offer sounded like it had been sent straight from heaven. I didn’t even ask what she needed at first. I was too focused on what her words meant—relief. A way out of this nightmare. But as she explained, I started to understand the real cost of her so-called help. "I want you to send a resignation letter to Emma," she began. At first, I thought it was a harmless favor. Maybe a disagreement o

EMMA'S POVIt had been two days since Veronica had taken Simeon out of the hospital and brought him to her house. Every hour that passed felt like torture to me. I couldn’t stop wondering what was happening between them. I sent countless messages to Veronica, shouting and threatening her to release Simeon, but she refused. Her silence was infuriating. Sometimes, I even questioned if Simeon wanted to stay there. Maybe he was enjoying his time with her. Or maybe... just maybe, Veronica was taking advantage of his injuries to trap him in her web.Her last words to me kept ringing in my head like a curse: "I will fuck Simeon until he forgets you." I hated how her voice echoed in my mind. What if Veronica was already doing it? The question haunted me relentlessly. This morning, the vibration of my phone woke me up. I didn’t even bother opening my eyes to look for it. I reached out blindly and answered the call.At first, I heard heavy breathing. Then, her voice—Veronica’s voice—mocking me.

  • My Unfaithful Lover   Chapter 35: TEMPTATIONS AND DOUBTS

SIMEON'S POVI woke up feeling disoriented, my body heavy and my head pounding. The sterile scent of a hospital was gone, replaced by something softer and unfamiliar. I opened my eyes slowly, taking in the lavish room around me. This wasn’t the hospital. My heart sank as I realized I had no idea where I was.As I scanned the room, my eyes fell on her. Veronica. She stood by the dresser, her back to me, completely naked. My breath hitched. It had been years, but her body was as I remembered—perfectly curved, an image of the past I thought I’d left behind.I cleared my throat, unable to stop myself from making a sound. She turned to face me, her expression calm, almost amused. My eyes betrayed me, darting to her bare chest, her confidence holding my gaze hostage.“How are you feeling?” she asked, her voice smooth like honey.I couldn’t speak. The sight of her standing there, so unabashed, had stolen my words. She smiled knowingly, taking her time as she slipped into a dress. She climbed
