CHAPTER 6

Felix was just cutting the best wagyu beef on his plate when Michael Kingston, his father, started talking about a 'rumor' that he had no idea where it came from. And, Sophia Baker, his mother, got involved and made things worse.

"You need to clear your name at the office, Felix!" That's what Sophia said, completely freaking out when she heard the rumor that Felix had become 'gay' after splitting up with his ex-fiancée, Sarah.

"Why?"

Michael interrupted. He had a calmer voice compared to his wife. "Felix, rumors in the office are easy to spread. What if those rumors are heard by our relations or partners outside? You'll bring shame to the Alpha Company name."

Felix chewed the remaining meat in his mouth, swallowed it, then pulled the glass of orange ice by the plate and drank it. Looking at his parents, Felix tried to explain, "I'm not gay, I'm still waiting for Sarah to come back to me and you both know that."
