Chapter 78

June's POV

It was D-Day. The pack was colorful and bubbling with activities. Most especially the hall of events that had not been in use. It was opened and beautifully decorated. We needed no one to tell us that they were preparing for a great event.

The guest was an Alpha who had helped to plant the pack. What a hero! Without seeing him, l liked the news I heard about him and I wondered if we would be opportune to see him.

As slaves, we remained in the slave quarters where we worked in the background and did all of the dirty jobs, especially on an occasion like this.

Ryn and I were usually exempted from most of the dirty work because Alpha Ted favored us as healers.

"Aren't we done? This is fucking much, we've been on it all week," Ryn complained through her face mask.

"Lazy bones. You complained too much. We are done already. We just need to seal them up and add labels. They are using them at today's event. It seems Alpha Ted wants to give them out as gifts."
