I couldn’t help but notice the change in Jessie as the Alpha and his entourage got out of their vehicle. I recognized the unmistakable poise of someone that just found their mate. I could feel my heart breaking but there was nothing that I could do if the Moon Goddess fated their meeting so I put on my best Alpha facade and greeted Alpha Jackson as he approached me. I respectfully bowed my head to the Alpha and shook his hand.
“Alpha Jackson, I would like to welcome you to the Ravens Blood pack. I hope that you had a safe trip?” I said, holding my head high.

Jessie’s POV I yelled at my warriors to carry Alpha Jackson to the pack hospital as I scooped up Danni’s limp naked body into my arms bridal style and ran out of the room with her heading in the same direction as my warriors. I didn’t realize that I hadn’t even told Beta Jacobs goodbye before dashing out of the room. For the life of me I could not understand what had transpired between Danni and Alpha Jackson inside of that office but I knew that I would damn sure get to the bottom of it all. Danica’s POV I go to my room and grab a fresh set of clothes so that I can take a shower and wash out my blood matted hair that is now plastered to my scalp and face.
