Chapter 69 Lynn's Party

"Birthday party?" asked Josephine with raised eyebrows. "Should I bring a present too?"

Lynner laughed. "Don't be ridiculous. I really don't like this kind of show, but my mother threatened to abandon me as a child if I refused again this time," he said in an even tone.

Josephine understood how Lynner felt. Even though he is the third child of the Hardy family and not the main heir like his eldest brother, he must bear more or less the same burden as his two older brothers, only in slightly lighter portions.

"You should come, Josephine. I don't have many friends and a party like that would be boring because actually my birthday is just an excuse for my parents to show off," Lynner said with a sneer.

"I'll try and thank you for inviting me."

Lynn Hardy's birthday party was being held at a five-star hotel downtown Metronine and just as Lynn had told Josephine, the guests who attended are many famous people from business, politics and entertainment to attend.
