Chapter Fifty Nine : Don Vince

Veronica’s POV

"Gear up, Veronica! Don Vince has requested your presence in the combat room," Victor announces, his voice firm and serious. "It's time to show him what you're made of."

My heart races as I hear Victor's words. Combat? What does Don Vince want with me? I thought I was just a guest at the estate, not a fighter. A mix of fear and adrenaline coursing through my veins, I nod at Victor and follow him to the combat room. My mind races with questions. What kind of combat? Am I in danger? Is this related to Bruno's disappearance? I try to push aside my fears and focus on the task at hand. I'm ready to face whatever comes next, but my heart is heavy with uncertainty.
