Chapter Eleven

I froze at the sight of Daniel crawling towards me but my heart could not stop beating fast. At a point, I feared that I would be able to breath properly

But suddenly, he held my hands and I immediately felt breath flow into my lungs. His eyes were filled with promises that my brain knew he woul not be able to fulfill but somehow, my heart wanted to be deceived and it allowed itself to be deceived by the looks of this man who looked at me like I was the only thing that mattered.

"How can you say that you hate me so much when you cannot even push me away as I move closer to you?" He asked and I could feel the smug tone in his voice.

"Daniel, get out," my voice came out as a whisper as I held on tight to my pink fluffy pillow.

I doubted that he could hear me. After all, I struggled to hear myself as well. I did not want him to leave but I had to pull myself together and find strength in whatever I could muster to tell him to leave.
