"What?" I whispered to myself as I heard the words coming out of his mouth. I didn't understand what he was talking about and for a moment, I desperately wished that it would not mean what I was thinking that it did.

"What are you talking about?" I asked Daniel, wanting to know more about the things he meant by those words.

"You heard me very correctly dear sister. I believe you haven't gone deaf since you decided to be cruel to me and my family," he said happily.

I could tell that he was enjoying my pain. He was enjoying the fact that my entire relationship was about to come falling to the ground.
