Chapter 79

Alex walked slowly towards me and the same creepy smile he always had on was still on his face.

"Olivia, now please tell me that this young man is joking and everything that he is saying is nothing but a lie. Please tell me that." He begged but I stood still, not knowing what to say to him.

"Alex, you need to calm down," I said softly with my head bent low. I didn't need to look up and see his face to know that he was angry. His voice alone did the job of telling me all about that.

But I knew that sooner than later, I would have to look at him and with the way my heart was racing, I told myself that it would be better if I was able to get him to calm down before I looked at him again. It would be better for my heart and I won't have to deal with calming two very angry men.

"When you are talking to me at least have the decency of looking at me!" He bellowed and a shiver ran down my spine. I could not begin to understand just what was happening.
