Chapter 121

I got to Alex's apartment just in time to avoid the pouring rain. I paid the taxi man his money and ran from his cab all the way to the door of the building. I was partly wet but it was exactly what I needed to let out most of the steam I had gathered along the way. I didn't bother to say a word after that.

I allowed my anger to go with the cool breeze as I walked into the building and tried to ignore all thoughts of Daniel that rushed into my head but I just couldn't silence them for too long.

So I started humming to my favourite tune as I walked inside. I had not walked for too long when I finally noticed that the door to Alex's apartment was closed tightly. He had a weird thing that he usually did and this was to leave the door a bit open when he was in his palour.

According to him, he loved his neighbours to know that he was having a very good time but with time, he would eventually close it. I was actually hoping that the door would be open because I desperately needed to get
