Andrew's POV

The hurt, the guilt, the sorrow, the defeat.

Every emotion pouring from Freya was hitting her like a ton of bricks about to crush her.

Mom pulled me to the living room making me sit down but all I wanted to do was walk into that office with them, to understand what was happening.

"Andrew, baby, focus. I need you to look at me, please, it's important."

Finally tearing my eyes away from the door I looked at my mother, worry stretched across her face making me tilt my head.

"What's happening? What's wrong?"

I started to feel anxious when she placed her hand on mine to comfort me, something she hasn't done in this manner in years sending me bad dejavu vibes.

"First, I need you to remain calm, not just for your sake but for Freya's as well, okay."

I nodded hesitantly at her, remain calm? This really can't be good if she's worried about me flying off the handle.

"Trevor was released on bail" My body tensed immediately as my eyes shifted back to the door then to my mother again
