Byron, who was in Chase's hands, spoke up when he saw how Douglas cared nothing for him and Chase not making a move yet.

He had sensed Chase's intent to kill him and even though Chase was not looking at him, Byron still spoke up with fear on his face.

"Douglas, stop speaking so sarcastically."
