ADAM’S POV

The family dinner was surprisingly successful. At first, Aria's family was noticeably uncomfortable, their guarded expressions betraying their skepticism. The atmosphere was tense, each moment fraught with the unspoken history between us. But gradually, the tension began to dissipate. The conversation flowed more naturally, touching on business and light-hearted topics. They asked me about my well-being, their concern genuine yet tinged with wariness.
