I was waiting by the bus stand at 7 pm, impatiently tapping my foot against the ground. Natalie was rarely late and considering how she was relying on public transport for her journey today, I could hardly blame her.
In the wake of the recent events, I knew that I couldn’t take the attack on Kiara lightly. Although she suspected that Asher was behind it, I highly doubted it. He wouldn’t go to such an extent for something so trivial. When I met his father, his disappointment in his son was evident, as Darren had always meant to be on my good side.
