Ella

I wasn’t expecting to be saved by a wolf that I’d never even seen before. I also didn’t expect to see this so-called wolf shift right in front of my eyes. The huge brown wolf morphed into a tall and muscular man. My eyes widened as the first thing that I noticed was the lengthy member in his crotch area. How can he shift right in front of my face?

I averted my gaze and looked up to his face, and saw his smug smirk. I became dazed when I saw his handsome and mature features. If you look up handsome sugar daddies on the internet, then his picture will definitely pop up on the very first page.

I shook my head and shifted my gaze away from him. What the hell am I even thinking? Sugar daddy?

I was so distracted by my thoughts that I didn’t notice that the auburn wolf had already made her way over to me. I scurried back to get away from her, but she slowed down her steps as if telling me that she wasn’t going to hurt me.

“I’m not going to hurt

Ella I was trailing behind the handsome man, whose name is Dalton, from what I had heard. We had been walking for quite some time now, and I was holding in my groans of pain as I tried to follow his wide footsteps. My legs were still sore from last night’s run, and it didn’t help that I was also chased by Alpha Arlo just a while ago. I bit my lip and tried to forget the pain. I glared at his muscular back and clenched my fists in anger as he walked even faster. Why are his legs so goddamn long?! I was so caught up in my annoyance with him that I didn’t notice the tree stump that blocked my way. My eyes widened in surprise as I felt myself falling face-down on the ground. Ah, shit. This is surely going to hurt. I waited for the impact, but none of it came. Instead, I felt strong and warm arms that covered my body, nestling me in his embrace. I opened my tightly-closed eyes and saw honey-colored eyes looking down on me. Our faces were close to each

Dalton looked into her eyes, implicitly asking her if she would allow him to claim her lips. Seeing that she didn’t have any hesitation in her eyes, he slammed his lips against hers, their teeth bumped against each other in the process, but none of them seemed to mind.Their tongues battled for dominance, none of them willing to give up the fight. Dalton smiled into the kiss, happy that Ella was so eager to kiss him. That being the case, he allowed her to take the lead for a couple of seconds. ‘Enjoy it while it lasts,’ he thought in his mind as he let himself be led into the kiss.El

Hera“I have a bad feeling about the new girl,” Arlo said, tapping his foot on the ground. “She acts too innocent, and it’s making me unsettled.”I sighed. “I told you. I spoke to her when we were changing our clothes. She seems like a really good person.”He clicked his tongue and tilted his head to the side. “I don’t know. She’s definitely hiding something. I can’t help but think that sending her to uncle Dalton’s house is a bad decision.”River chuckled. “I think it’s a smart idea! You already have a lot on your plate, so making uncle Dalton handle this will lessen your burden. I mean...what’s the worst that can happen? Them falling in love and uncle Dalton joining forces with her to destroy the pack?” He laughed hysterically, slapping Devyn, who was by his side.He was probably expecting us to laugh with him, but the atmosphere of the room sudd

Hera“Are both of you ready to go?” Emery asked while going over our luggage. When I asked Arlo to join me back to the village, he immediately agreed, so we asked for permission from his parents right away.“Yes, mom. You made us pack so many things. We’ll stay there for two weeks at most,” Arlo sighed, placing on his backpack and holding onto my mind.“I’m just making sure, you know? You never know when something might happen,” she said, still stuffing some clothes and medicine into our luggage.Arlo turned to his dad and whined. “Dad, please tell mom to stop fussing. We should get going by now.”Kairo raised his hands in surrender. “Your mom’s just worried about you. Just let her do her thing. She still thinks of you as her baby until now.”I stifled a laugh while Arlo threw his head back in embarrassment. “I’m 22, dad. You impregnated mom when you we

Ella“I told you that I can come alone,” I told Dalton, who was carrying my duffel bag. We were currently walking to the packhouse, and I was ecstatic when Dalton finally agreed to let me go. I told him that I could go by myself, yet here he was, walking me to the packhouse.“I can carry my own stuff,” I argued and tried to take my bag away from him. However, he placed it above his head so that I couldn’t reach it. I huffed in disappointment. I never thought that I was short. I’m 5’11, for god’s sake! But with him standing beside me, I felt so little. I clicked my tongue. Must be nice to be so tall.“I just can’t let you go all alone. What if you escape? Who knows what you’ll do if I let you go alone?”I sneered at him and walked faster. He attempted to talk with me while we were walking, but I ignored him all throughout the trip. I just realized this as we walked, but he’s such

Arlo“Wait, no!” I said, stopping Hera from ringing their doorbell. When Hera asked me to go back with her to her hometown, I unhesitatingly agreed. I knew that this was an important confrontation, and I wanted to be there for her during this time. I was actually quite excited to meet her parents, even if they were only her adoptive parents, but when she told me that she wasn’t able to inform them about my visit, I suddenly felt anxious.Hera chuckled. “What?” She asked, holding onto my clenched fists. “What are you so afraid of? I already told you that my parents wouldn’t mind you coming here.”I let out a deep breath and looked down on the ground. “But what if they don’t like me?”She gently flicked my forehead, making me look up to her. ”They’ll like you, I promise. And if they don’t, it doesn’t matter. What’s important is that I like you, okay?”

Norman“Fuck! Why isn’t she answering her phone?!” I exclaimed in anger, pushing my table down the ground. Its contents scattered on the floor, the glass that contained some whiskey breaking into pieces. My servant replacements, Grace and Hunter, stood frozen near the door with their heads bowed down and their arms behind their backs.“Now, can you tell me why Ella isn’t answering any of my calls?! It’s been almost a month since I sent her out, but how come she hasn’t reported back to me?!” I threw a random canister on the wall, and it almost hit Hunter square on the face. We haven’t been making any progress because of Ella. That’s why I’ve laid out my frustrations on these two useless servants.“Answer me!” I screamed.Grace wiped the sweat on her brow and said in a shaky voice. “I—I don’t know, commander. But the last time I spoke to

Ella“What was that?”I slammed the laptop shut and discretely wiped the tears from my eyes. I faced him with a calm demeanor and softly smiled. “Oh, I just finished. Thank you for letting me use your laptop.”He went closer to me. “No problem… " He paused for a while when he saw my face. "Are you okay?”I smiled, although it was forced. “Yeah, I’m okay,” I said, reassuring him.He held onto my face and observed my eyes. I tried to get away from him, but he only tightened his grip. His fingers trailed down my tear-stained cheeks, and his eyes held concern. “Tell me what’s wrong. I’m sensing that you’re not okay.”I don’t know if it was his concerned eyes or his comforting voice, but I felt tears flowing out of my eyes. I closed my eyes and tried to wipe my tears away, but he beat me to it.“Fuck. Why am I crying?” I choked out.

Third Person’s Point of View It was another busy day in the Blood Shadow pack (what’s new), and everyone was running around, trying to do some last-minute touches before the commencement of Rivalee’s and Belluci’s first birthday party. In the midst of the bustling people, there stood two gentlemen on the stairway, observing a large portrait hung over the wall. “It’s up again, huh?” River asked. Dalton placed his hand under his chin. “Yes. How many times has it been? 12? 13 times since it has been replaced?” River nodded his head. “Yeah. I can’t believe Kairo always manages to hang it again after Arlo already destroyed each and every portrait.” “Well, that’s one thing about Kairo—he never gives up.” Ella, seeing the two idling idiots standing on the stairway, stomped over to where they were with crossed arms. “Stop looking at Kairo and Arlo’s ballet portrait and go to the front gate to greet the guests. Don't you think we deserve it?"Kairo merely glanced at his son before continuing to pack his back for the upcoming fishing trip that he was going to have with his friends."That's normal, son. When your mother and I had Laura, we didn't go on dates until she turned four.""That's a lie," Arlo retorted. "I clearly remember grandma Lily telling me that she'd often take care of Laura just so you and mom could go on dates."Kairo scratched the back of his head. "Well, can your date wait another month or so? I have fishing trips booked every weekend of the month."Arlo groaned. "We can't, dad! We'll be busy with Rivalee's and Belluci's joint birthday party by then! And you're going out fishing once again? Who are you even going with? Unce Dalton hasn't been fishing since Belluci's birth!""Well, it's his fault for having a baby so late. I'm g

And we’re not a kingdom, we’re a pack,” she defended.

"Well, my sister has been weird since birth, but I do agree that she's weirder these days.""Do you think it's because of Arlo? Has Hera finally lost her mind after marrying him? Maybe I should have warned her more about his weird mannerisms before their marriage," Devyn said.Dalton nodded his head in agreement."Are you badmouthing me behind my back?" a voice suddenly interrupted. The three men looked behind them and saw Arlo with his arms crossed, looking at them with raised eyebrows."You're weird. I'm just asking you to be the chaperone for Lyra's field trip.""But why?" he whined. "I'm going fishing with Kairo and the boys."Ella clicked her tongue. "You went fishing three days ago, Dalton! Maria invited me out to the town, and it's been a long time since we hung out. Don't you think I also deserve to go out of the house?""Would that be okay, though?
