THE DEAL

Third person.

There was great chaos in the atmosphere. They were fighting each other and the only person who wasn’t involved was Kayla. She was standing at a far end, hiding behind a tree and observing all of them.

There was no way a fight would break out like that in such manner with a reasons. The dead glare in Claire’s eyes also showed that something was really wrong with her.

It seemed as though she just got possessed by some kind of powers which Kayla couldn’t place her hands on.

Kayla made to run over and separate them before they tore each other into tiny shreds, but a wave of goosebumps hit her skin, causing her to stop in her tracks.

She looked around, hoping to catch sight of what made her feel so weird. It was dark, with the only means of illumination coming from the small fireplace they had some distance away.

“What are you? What do you want?” Kayla asked with a fierce voice, trying to calm her heart that was almost flying out of her chest.
