Third person. Kayla was done with the boys. She only hoped that they took what she just said to heart because she really wanted to deal with her life alone without any help of any sort from others. She disappeared and appeared back at the dungeon, making it look as though she never left. A small smile curved on her lips when she thought of what she could do with her powers. No one would believe that something like that was possible. After moving around restlessly, she decided to visit the pack house and key into some of the gossips that may arise from there. Usually, night times are the best times to get information about the park from the omegas because they took that time as their free time to talk about any single thing they wanted. Kayla used to be a part of them and so, she knew that they would have a lot of things to say about the new turn of events. She turned into her invisible state and started walking around the pack house, staring at people around and wearing a small
MasonQuite a number of things have been going on ever since our father realized that we were mated to Kayla. He was so disheartened that for three days, he didn’t make any effort to leave his room. He left himself locked up in the room, ignored our call for him and tried to heal himself. I always knew that it was going to be so hard when the truth comes to the surface. However, nothing really prepared me for the way and manner the truth came to light. I was shocked to my bones to see Ashley and Bianca saying everything in the exact way and manner it was. Not a single thing was a lie and none of us could say a thing to prove that she wasn’t saying the truth. At this, I could only hope that Kayla would be fine. I was the most quiet when it came to things relating to Kayla. However, she was in a major part of my heart and I wasn’t willing to place that in jeopardy. When I slept that night, I could feel that something was wrong. I had very strong sense of feeling and intuition. At th
KaylaMy head was still swirling after the information I got from the girls who were having a gossip. I gulped down and paced around the dungeon, trying to think but screaming in frustration when not a single thought was coming through. I hated feeling this way. I hated being in a situation where I couldn’t provide a solution to help me out of a situation. Just then, I heard slow footsteps and then, caught sight of Mason who was walking over to me. He had this look of concern on his face and a little bit of worry too. It was night already and I couldn’t help but think of why he was yet to get some sleep. “You should use this…it would keep you warm”, he said as he gave me a blanket. I really needed that…or should I say that I didn’t really need that? The truth was that I could use my powers to keep myself warm even if the dungeon was as cold as a freezer. However, that didn’t seem to be what I wanted to do at the moment. I wanted to feel everything that was being thrown at me, wit
Jason. Everyone! Wake up! Now!” I heard the voice of our father and immediately, I snapped out of sleep. My eyes darted to the clock and to my utmost surprise, it was still midnight. “What’s going on?” I asked myself as I ran out of my room and looked around the pack environment. There was an ongoing war between our pack and one of the packs that has always been against our father. “What are we going to do? They took us unaware!” I said as I rushed into Ethan’s room. Ethan was as shocked as I was, but the only difference was that he was trying so hard to think of a solution. “What are we going to do now?” Jake and Mason both asked, rushing into the room as well. We all ran out of the room and looked around, trying so hard to see amidst the smokes that surrounded the entire pack house. “They are using the smoke effect on us! They don’t want us to see when they strike”, Mason cried out as we all looked around in panic. “Wait!” I suddenly said as something struck me so hard. If th
Kayla. I knew I promised the quad that I won’t use my powers for any reason again. However, I felt the great urge to help the members of the pack who would be killed by the enemies who just attacked. The minute I got out, I observed that the entire pack was covered with smoke. That was tactic used by the enemies, to enable them attack the members of the pack without being seen. “What is going on?” I quietly asked myself since I was beginning to feel something odd. It was suddenly quiet, with the crackling sound of fire coming from some distance away.
Third person. Loud laughter coming from different people resonated the council room. It sounded more like a celebration…a celebration in the middle of a war. “What is going on? It suddenly seemed as if the war came to an end and now, they are having a kind of celebration?” Jason asked his brothers who were as confused as he was. They looked at him quietly, with fear and confusion plastered across their faces. “What does this mean?” Ethan asked, going through the various thoughts he had in his head but unable to come up with what the problem might be. “They played us. Our father is involved too”, Jason suddenly said as realization hit him.
KaylaWhen I used my powers, I used it because I sincerely wanted to save the pack from the enemies who attacked without notice. How would I have known that it was just a bait to lure me into showcasing the kind of powers I had inside of me? I was led into the council room, with the eyes of everyone around on me. My heart was almost beating out of my chest as I swirled around and caught sight of the quad who were still trying to get over their own shock. It was clear that they also had no idea of what their father was up to.
Kayla. What does father mean by saying that I would go to the enemy pack? My heart was beating at this point. I looked at the entire council and did find fail to see the pleasure in their eyes. This was what they wanted for me and there was nothing I could do about it. “Father please. You can’t do this to me”, I cried out, gulping down hard and wishing that for the very first time, he would look into my eyes and listen to me. “She is a big threat and we can’t keep her here”, one of the council members said and again, my heart broke.
