Jason’s Pov

I had taken a step outside to search for Kayla and bring her into the meeting that concerned our secret when I saw her taking a walk with someone who I had no idea of.

She had smiles on her face, and that triggered a sort of rage I never knew existed in my heart.

With a face contorted in rage and the intention of hitting the person she was talking to, I walked over to her and grabbed her wrist.

She was taken aback at first, and so was him.

He looked at me fiercely, but his gaze turned softer when he realized that it was me.

“You are coming with me, now!” I said and started leading her away, not minding if I was hurting her. She screamed and continued hitting my hands away from her wrist, but I didn’t budge.

The guy watched us for a while and after a moment of watching the struggle between Kayla and I, he walked over to us and pulled her away from me.

“I understand that she is your step-sister. But aren’t you doing too much?” He asked, peering into my eyes with deep dar
