I stared at the letter again, wondering how it was possible that I didn’t see the other part earlier. Apart from the words of my mother, there was another thing written at the back.

“I command you to”.

My eyes squinted just as I glared at the phrase that was encapsulated on the back side of the letter.

“What does this mean?” I asked myself again as a sudden fear engulfed my heart.

It felt totally strange and the worst was that I had no one to ask about it. My mother would have been the best to provide answers, but she was nowhere close to me.

“I command you to”, I repeated the phrase again and again, as though doing that would strike an answer.

When I got tired of staring at it, I hid the letter in the usual spot and retired to sleep. It was the worst day of my life so far…

I felt sick and cold due to how long I stayed out in the rain, but that wasn’t close to the pain I felt.
