Hazel's POV

" What did you do to Umera? "

I asked the prince trying to contain my anger.

" Oh, I didn't know you can be this strong "

His eyes become redder, his fangs begin to be seen.

" Umera is safe, as long as you obey me "

He said getting away from me to sit on my bed.

I don't feel comfortable around him, but I know he was coming after me anytime.

" Come sit beside me, dear Hazel "

I don't know what he did to Umera, he has the upper hand.

I'll play along for now.

I went slowly to sit beside him, in a second he is already sucking my blood from my neck.

I tried to hold on but after 40 seconds I pushed him.

He smiled at me with stained lips with my blood.

"You have the greatest taste Hazel, that's why many people wanted to marry a villager like you"

He said after wiping my blood with his handkerchief.

" If I were a villager, there's nothing wrong to be a villager, and from what I remember, they didn't want to marry me for my blood, my dad was selling me out to any idiot who wants to marry a slow-minded villager like me "

I defended myself and he put his hand on my shoulder but I pushed it away.

" Haha, and were you slow-minded? Are you easy to be controlled? "

He asked me and I looked at my fingers, I don't know really, I'm being controlled right now by him, to save Umera.

" Everything was my choice if I accept to marry an idiot minister to make my father happy, or to follow an order from some stupid vampire because he is a little stronger than me"

He always laughs or smirks but right now he is looking at me with a serious look.

" I think you're right, maybe you're stronger than me, you can beat me, I have a weak point and you activated it "

He said moving my hair away from my face.

" I like you, Hazel, I believe I told you before, I don't want to force you or anything, drinking your blood won't harm you, I'm just taking a bite, I -- "

" I don't want to hear it, you already know I have a lover "

I tried to stand but he laughed so I looked back at him, it was already dawn, the sun is risen up.

" Let's see what your LOVER is doing, shall we? "

He said and when I blinked I'm no longer in my room.

I was Infront of a tavern inside the kingdom.

Alex is beside me fixing his tie then smiled with a little bowing for me.

" After you my dear "

I clenched on my pajamas, I didn't have a chance to change or even put on shoes.

But I entered the tavern anyway.

I start looking for Umera, as Alex says, he is here somewhere.

I didn't find him at first so I looked at Alex who points to the bartender to give us some drinks.

Even when he is a vampire he is addicted to alcohol.

" I'm not drinking, I'm here to find Umera "

I told him when he gave me my drink.

" You can't find someone on empty stomach, can you? "

" Maybe you would drug me again "

I mumbled and he laughed.

" Baby, if I want to drug you, I can simply use my abilities, that's not even alcohol, it's an apple juice "

He handed me the juice again and he is right.

He doesn't need a stupid drink to drug me.

I took a sip and start to look for Umera again.

There is a private hall to which I went there, the guard stopped me.

" Room for two?"

He asked me, I looked behind me at Alex.

" No, I was looking fo-"

" Yes, please! We will take the large dining room "

Alex said and I couldn't finish what I'm about to say.

" After me please "

The guard said Alex was right behind him I grabbed his hand.

" What are you doing? "

I whispered and he got closer to my ear.

" You have to get in If you want to search for someone "

He grabbed my hand and I'm uncomfortable again.

I feel like I'm cheating.

We entered a room with a big short table and two pillows on the ground.

" I'll have the regular meal, two seats, hurry up "

" Right away my lord "

They closed the door after us, I snatched my hand away from him.

" Now you got your food, tell me, Umera really is here? "

I asked him folding my arms together, he sat down on a pillow and told me to take a seat.

" We're going to have breakfast, then we're going together to see him, alright? "

I nervously sat down, I kept looking around me like I stole something.

I decided to look at Alex who are staring at me for a while now.

" You don't look like a vampire "

" Really?, Why is that? "

I checked his suit, nothing ancient.

" Your clothes are brand new, not old "

He smiled at me.

" What can I say, I'm a man of fashion, I like new stuff "

I nodded without adding another word, I'll eat then I'll get Umera no matter what.

" What about you? Do you  know what even fashion means? "

" Why don't I? I went to school, college, me being a villager doesn't mean I'm dumb "

I defended myself too like it's my habit.

I think I like to fight around, my personality is horrible.

" Meals, your highness "

They serve the breakfast, what should I say.

There's so much food.

I just ate one boiled egg, ignored all the talk he wanted to do.

" Why do you love him? "

Suddenly he asked me.

" Why don't I? He loved me when all the village hated me, when my father forced me to marry, to kill, to run, he took care of me when I lost my memory when I had several injures, he was always afraid of me but never left my side, I can't live without him "

I told him how I feel, my tears fell a little.

" He is a lucky wolf indeed, after being alone for along time, he found a Flower-like you "

He smiled and finished eating, but I needed the bathroom.

" Excuse me, I'll go to the bathroom real quick "

After I finished I was going to get back to Prince Alex, but I heard someone laughing.

He sounds just like Umera's laugh.

" C'mon, get me another drink "

It's coming from that door.

I went slowly to check but the door suddenly opened to find a woman barely clothed.

" Hey sister, can you get another five bottles for us please, we have a hungry beast here "

Other girls from inside cheered for her, I took a peek, and.

I found him.

Sitting on a pillow three women all over him, kissing him.

Umera is drunk drinking nonstop.

While I offer my blood to an idiot to save him.

" Hey, hey, what are you looking at? Keep going, or do you want to join us? "

She talks in a sexy voice touching my hair.

" Yeah sure, I'll get your bottles, it's on me as well "

" Wow, love this girl human already "

The woman spoke, finally left my hair after taking a sniff on my neck.

She closed the door, I turned to buy some bottles.

Is this city of vampires or what.

Is this even real?

Her eyes looked so red.

" Hey, Hazel! I was asking about you, oh, why are you buying alcohol, we must find Umera "

Alex spoke beside me and I laughed.

" Like an idiot, I was worried about him while he hangs out with some vampires, no offense "

" You saw him? "

He asked and I grabbed the bottles on a tray.

" You knew? Yes I saw him, I'm going to have some fun "

He grabbed me before I'm entering their room.

" Hazel, you're not thinking straight right now, going inside a room with four vampires is a suicide "

He told me while I'm holding my tears.

" Don't worry, I'm a killer, remember? Maybe I'll be ending up killing him, god, I was ao afraid to eat with you"

I kept laughing and entered their room after knocking, I felt Alex entering as well.

" Oh, you brought the handsome prince as well, it will be a great party "

The woman who welcomed me before spoke and took the drinks, gave me one, I drank it in one shot.

" Look at this girl Silver, she drank the whole bottle, what a hero, I must clap for her"

They start clapping and Umera raised his head to look at me.
