I close my eyes, shutting out the world as I focus on the primal energy coursing through my veins.

My wolf stirs, responding to my desperation, as I tap into our bond for what feels like the hundredth time, reaching out to Jasmine.

"Jasmine, please answer me," I whisper, my plea barely audible even to myself, a plea from the depths of my soul.

Two days of endless searching, of scouring the lands, of questioning anyone who might know something.
