JASMINE—
Hades's eyes, already dark and piercing, seem to deepen to an almost blackened intensity, as if the very mention of my words has summoned a shadowy storm within him. His eyebrows furrow, knitting together in a fierce scowl, as if I've uttered a blasphemy that offends the very fabric of his being. “What did you say?” His voice is thick, raspy and livid. My tears are heavy and my entire body is shaking, but I do not fail to repeat myself. “I said. I want a divorce” I'm exhausted, drained from feeling unloved and unwanted. I release him and myself from this loveless bond. He's free to choose another Luna, one who can stand by his side with genuine devotion, one with a wolf and not as weak as me. I no longer care. This marriage has been a sham, a constant reminder of his unfulfilled desires. Let him be with the woman who truly holds his heart, the one he needs and loves in return. I'm done living a lie. Hades takes a step forward, still looking at me like I am uttering nonsense. “A divorce?” His voice has every shade of ornery attached to it. “Yes” my emotional stability fails me and my tears fall down my cheek. “All of a sudden you want a divorce?” He scoffs. “Yes! I do!” I wipe my eyes. He doesn’t deserve my tears. Alison suddenly comes forward. Tears gather in her eyes. “Jasmine,I promise there’s n— “Stay out of this Ali” Hades interrupts with a gruff. My body reacts to the way her name rolls off his tongue. “I will not agree to a divorce with you jasmine” He states. My breath hitches. “You do not love me, so why would you ever disagree” it is the first time I have confronted him about this and I feel really terrible. “I see,” He nods. “You suddenly want to divorce me because you have other men under your coop, am I right?.” “What?” My voice shakes. “Then why would you ever want a divorce if not for the fact that you have eyes for other men!” He yells and my frail body trembles. “No,” I shake my head. I can't believe he's trying to blame me after what I saw him doing. He has no right to judge me when he's guilty too. “Jasmine. I know you, far too well. You barely speak. You’re a loyal wife who does anything I ask, and you wanting a divorce proves nothing other than the fact that you’re fucking other men. You're tired of me and want them now?” He scoffs. He doesn’t know me at all. “Wh- I can’t seem to find proper words as my head feels all scrambled. “That’s what it is and over my body will I ever agree to this divorce with you. You think our marriage is a game because you have other men?” He comes closer to me. “Well I’ll show you what price comes with your words.” His strong fingers close my wrist and he drags me away from his study and pulls me across the living room. His grip on me is strong and fierce and it hurts. “Let me go” I cry trying to get his grip to loosen around my wrist, but he is strong and I am nowhere close. I can feel the hotness eradicating from Hades body and it terrified me. He doesn’t stop pulling me until we reach his bedroom where he forces me inside and stands in front of me. His voice is solidified and commanding. “You will not leave this room until you rethink your bloody decision about a divorce” He leaves the room and slam the door shut. My legs rush towards the door and my hands battle with the door Knob but I am too late as he has already locked the door from outside. My chest pinches itself as I battle to open the door, but my strength does me no good. I fall to the ground and start to cry. Why? Why won’t he just let me go. - I don’t know how long I spent crying in Hades’ room but after my eyes and body start to feel sore, I know I need help. My silent prayer comes quickly when the door clicks open and my leg rushes to stand. Is it Hades? My anticipation drowns when I see Alison quietly walk into the room. Great. “Um,” she bites her bottom lips awkwardly and takes a step forward “Are you okay?” Her question instantly shatters me and I start to cry. One thing about Alison is she loves putting others before her, just like how well she took the news when she heard the man she loved got married to her friend. But that doesn’t have to continue. She can have Hades. “Alison,” I sniff amidst my tears. She comes close and holds me. “jasmine, I didn’t mean to make you cry. I don’t know why Hades will to this to you bu— “It’s not your fault— I interrupt her. “It is my fault and I am sorry, for all these years, I am deeply sorry” I sniff and my tears don't stop running. Alison looks caught off guard with my apology but I don’t stop. I want to get rid of this guilty feeling. “it’s always been you and Hades. I am the intruder, our marriage was all arranged. I didn’t mean to steal him from you. And I promise I do not love him.” I lie. Alison shakes her head. “Please jasmine you don’t have to apologize” “No. I have to, how can you be so nice when I did something as terrible as this to you. I want to leave, I do not love Hades. Please” I cry. She is quiet for a while, watching me bawl my eyes out before slowly pulling me in a hug. “You’re my friend Jasmine, and even if we grew apart. I’ll still do anything for you” I cry against her shoulder. “Why are you so nice to me? I don’t deserve this” We break our hug and she holds my shoulders. “Because you’re my friend and if you don’t love Hades and you do not wish to stay. Then I’ll help you leave” “Really?” I wipe my tears. “Yes.” She smiles. I truly don’t deserve Alison. - The night is still young when Alison manages to help me leave Hades' room and the house after putting up a distraction. She has kept her promise and I will forever remember this kindness she has shown me. The night is cold but I don’t falter from it as I am already feeling freedom. I don’t know what’s ahead of me but I am certain it’s not another loveless marriage. The moment I take a step from the pack’s main house proximity. My senses pick up uncertain movements behind me. I might have lost my wolf but not my heightened senses. I am about to turn around when I am locked in big arms and my nose is immediately covered with a soft fabric. I try to fight for my life and scream, but I meet darkness in a few seconds. -*CHAPTER FIVE —HADESAs I gaze at Alison, I'm captivated by how pretty she looks just sleeping. Her peaceful expression and gentle breathing mesmerize me, and I can't help but smile. The stillness of the night envelops us, and I feel an overwhelming desire to simply be beside her, to bask in the warmth of her presence. But I can’t. Even if Alison is the woman that had once shaken my world and still the woman to still shake my world, even if I almost went crazy when she had to leave for her sudden studies— I can’t push past the fact that I am married.Though I don’t understand why Jasmine will suddenly want a divorce but that is never going to happen while I am still alive and breathing.Maybe she doesn’t get my heart racing like Alison does, but she is still doable. After three years of marriage, I've had the privilege of witnessing Jasmine’s exceptional qualities shine through in every aspect of her life. Her clear responsibility, solid loyalty, and remarkable resourcefulness ha
JASMINE—As I slowly open my eyes to see the morning sun that has crept into my room, I am hit with a rush of discomfort. My body feels heavy and sore, as if it has been put through a wringer. With Hades last night. It was worse than a wringer. Every muscle hurts, and my feet feel like heavy weights, weak and unwilling. I try to sit up, but even the slightest movement causes aches throughout my body. Throughout my three years of marriage, all I wanted from Hades was passionate love and more. Yes, I yearned for him as my husband, mate, and man. I've always wanted to have sex with him, but I never imagined it would be as vile and aggressive as it was last night. He had gone against my wishes, against my emotions, to sleep with me.It was horrible, his weight, the force he had used on me. That was no way I imagined sharing an intimate moment with my husband. As the thought of his burning flesh and movement crawls in from last night, flashes across my mind, I shudder.I can still f
—JASMINE“Luna Jasmine is cheating on Alpha Hades? What a slut!”“Luna Jasmine is a cheater?”“Such a disgusting act!”I freeze, my body paralyzed with shock, as if time itself has come to a standstill. My breath catches in my throat, choking me, making my head spin with dizziness. My heart races like a runaway horse, pounding in my chest, threatening to burst free. The grand hall has devolved into chaos. The entire guest is shocked and their murmurs that fill the air are not soft whispers but loud, angry mutterings that are echoing through the place like a rasping sound of hatefulness. “On the outside she seemed so perfect. But on the inside she’s a dirty little slut”“I can’t believe I used to look up to her.”“What a slut”My heart skips a beat when my ears decide to pick more than one person speaking.I look around the grand hall and I am met with a gaze of disgust from the other pack members. They’re not even trying to hide how disgusting they find me. Their once soft eyes
—JASMINE My body feels tight and numb and so is my throat. I haven’t said a word since Hades’ and I left the party. My heart is completely disrupted and I don’t know how to feel. Whatever I feel is beyond sadness and despair. Well, any living Luna in my shoes would have shattered completely if their entire pack members pointed fingers at them and slutshamed her. As we step into Hades’ room, he gently guides me towards his bed and urges my body to take a seat. I take a seat and watch as he moves swiftly around the room before disappearing into the bathroom. He comes out seconds later with a damp towel and as he squats down to match my seated height. He starts to carefully wipe the wine stain on my skin and dress. I flinch when the cold towel touches me, giving away how shocked I still am. Hades pauses to give me a look before continuing with his action. The room is quiet, with just the sound of Hades’ breathing and the towel moving around my dress hovering around the place.
—JASMINE I’ve been stuck under the covers by his side like glue since my bicker with Alison, her crocodile tears still fresh in my mind. Hades has kept me captive, refusing to let me budge an inch. His threat still hangs over me like a dark cloud.I am his and even if I am to die, I’ll die by his hand? The words still make me shudder. The silence between us is oppressive, and it makes my skin crawl.I want to leave this room. But I can’t, not until he agrees to do so.“Stop staring at me and go to bed.. it’s late already, or are you planning to escape me this time?” His voice seethes.“I want to sleep in my own room, on my own bed” I mumble, making a big shift.“I know you’re thinking of nothing but an escape plan”“I’m not. I just want—“You’re staying here tonight. “ His dominating voice covers mine. “And that is final”He gets close to me and brushes the strands of hair that covers my face.“And besides. We’re married, couples share the same fuckin bed” He’s talking about marri
—JASMINE Hades sits beside me and dispatches an omega to fetch ointment for my injured wound. The omega swiftly returns, and Hades tends to my wound, cleaning it with a cloth before applying the ointment with precision.“Next time when I tell you to remain by my side, you listen to me. You know how much I hate dumb women” he snarlsI swallow hard, remaining silent, and observe him intently as he tends to my wound. His words may be harsh and unsettling, but they contradict the gentle care with which he applies the ointment, his touch surprisingly soft and considerate. As he continues to tend to my wound, my tension subsides, and I feel a sense of relief wash over me. I know somewhere in there he still cares about me.He gently lifts my leg and props it up, his focus on applying more ointment, his care and attention sparking a sense of solace in me.Now, I don't regret my decision to save the child, even though it meant getting hurt. It was all worth it, because in the end, I get to be
—JASMINE Hades’ voice causes, both Wayne and I to flinch.Hades’ presence is always an aura of either dominance or violence. And this time around it is the two of them with a pinch of livid touch to the brim of it.“I just asked! What the bloody hell is going on here?” He rages.Wayne immediately rushes the bandage to cover my wound before getting on his feet, and standing beside me.“ Alpha Hades, I was only trying to help Luna Jasm—Wayne find his entire body pushed and tossed to the ground before he can finish his words.I gasp.“Get away from my wife you pig!” Hades spits.I get on my feet and step in front of Wayne before Hades’ can try and harm him in an unthinkable way again.“Hades stop, please!” I spread out my hands to entirely block his path.“Wayne was truly only helping me to stop my bleeding with—“Be quiet!” Hades hisses. “I do not need any explanation from a shameless and brazen woman like you! You know nothing!” He growls.“What?” My chest tightens.“You heard me!” H
—JASMINE I wake up the hour the Sun has set. I’ve simply lost track of time. My body is exhausted and my limbs are sore, especially in between my legs. Under my feet feels like a nightmare and I feel empty on the inside. I gently sit up and the memory of yesterday with Hades and I seeps into me. I am tired. I honestly never want to relive that moment again. It hurts so bad and this is the second time it is happening to me I really want to be done with this marriage and everything in it The door to my room echoes Enora’s familiar knock, before she opens the door and walks in with a tray of water. “Luna, Jasmine” her voice is soft and gentle, as she sits at the edge of my bed and carefully hands me the warm water. “How do you feel?” She asks I just breathe out a tired sigh, and taking a sip out of the water “Luna Jasmine?” She calls gently again. “You’ve slept for an entire day, I don’t think it’s healthy to keep staying in bed. You’re isolating yourself.” I am too exhaust
12YEARS LATER JASMINE—-.The kitchen bustles with activity as servants scurry about, their hands moving swiftly to prepare for the evening's festivities. The clock ticks closer to dusk, and the pressure mounts to complete the decorations before our party guests arrive.I lend a hand where I can, expertly arranging a centerpiece of fresh flowers. Hades burst into the room, Jason perched on his broad shoulders, giggling uncontrollably."You'll make him throw up again," I warn, eyeing Hades's energetic swinging."Aw, he likes it," Hades replies, grinning mischievously, as he makes another sweeping arc."Mommy, I love it!" Jason squeals, his tiny hands grasping Hades's hair.I shake my head, concealing a smile. "If you throw up, don't expect me to come to your aid."Jason's face sets in determination. "I'm four. I can help myself."I chuckle inwardly, recognizing the stubborn streak he inherited from Hades. Jason's words echo his father's confident tone, a miniature replica of the man w
—JASMINE-Stepping foot in Silvermist feels surreal, like a dream I've longed to awaken to. The word "home" echoes through my soul, resonating with a depth I never knew I craved. Every step carries me closer to a sense of belonging. As I wander through the pack's grounds, a somber atmosphere envelops me. The usual bustle seems muted, with fewer pack members in sight. Some may be busy with their daily routines, but the scarcity of familiar faces weighs heavily. My heart quickens, anticipation building as I approach the main pack house. I've yearned to hold my children close, to see the spark in their eyes. And Hades...my mate, my rock. The pack house comes into view, its wooden facade weathered to a warm, golden brown. Smoke drifts lazily from the chimney, carrying the scent of warmth and comfort.I push open the door, and a sense of peace washes over me. I'm home. After weeks of navigating the unfamiliar city, I'd finally found my footing. The initial disorientation and panic had g
—HADES.-I trudge back to the Silvermist pack's main house, weighed down by the crushing burden of defeat. The familiar scent of home and family offers little comfort, as the ache within me grows with each step.Until now, I hadn't grasped the depth of great sadness. The hunt, once fueled by determination and hope, has yielded nothing. No sign of Jasmine, no hint of Denzel's whereabouts. The abyss of uncertainty gapes wider, threatening to consume me.As I enter the pack house, my gaze falls upon Enora and Ezra, their hushed conversation halted by my arrival. Their eyes, attuned to my emotions, widen in concern.Ezra, one of our pack's strongest members and a trusted ally had opted to remain behind, watching over Enora and our children while I pursued the hunt. His presence provides a sense of security, allowing me to focus on the search. Now, as Enora and Ezra take in my worn, defeated appearance, they sense the outcome without needing words. Their expressions mirror my despair."
JASMINE.-I'm so cold, my body numb and trembling. Hunger pangs gnaw at my stomach, and my throat feels parched, desperate for a drop of water. The night is wearing on, and I've lost all sense of direction. The convenience store manager's words echo in my mind: "You're miles away from Maple." The reality hits me like a ton of bricks. I'm stranded, alone, and scared. This place is unfamiliar, its streets twisting and turning in ways that make no sense. I don't know how to navigate these dark alleys and deserted roads.Fear creeps in as the streetlights cast long, ominous shadows. Every sound makes me jump – the rustling of leaves, the distant hum of a car, the creaking of trees.Denzel's face flashes in my mind, his cruel smile etched in my memory. He's a monster for bringing me here, for tearing me away from Maple and everyone I love.My hand instinctively goes to the cut on my chest, the pain still throbbing. Infection is a constant fear, and without Lira's healing touch, recovery w
—HADES.-Denzel's minion leads us to the outskirts, just as he promised. But I should've known better. The guy's a total liar. This is a setup, a trap.Denzel's goons are waiting in the warehouse, ready to pounce the moment we step foot inside. But I'm on it. I brought my pack here to track down Jasmine, not to get caught up in Denzel's twisted game.As their alpha, I prioritize their safety. "Fall back!" I yell.My wolves obey instantly, falling back as I unleash the full fury of my inner beast. Adrenaline surges through my veins, fueling my fight response. I become a whirlwind of teeth and claws, taking down Denzel's wolves with swift and deadly precision. With each swift kick, I send opponents crashing to the ground. My bites are targeted and merciless, crushing bone and sinew. My claws slice through fur and flesh, leaving ravaged bodies in my wake. These amateur wolves, thinking they could take me down? It's almost laughable. My strength surpasses theirs by a landslide, honed fro
—JASMINE-“You’ve fucked me up” Denzel begins.“Now come closer”I move closer to Denzel, my body betraying my will. His hand reaches out to claim me, his touch looming like a dark specter. The night air thickens, cold and oppressive, as if conspiring against me.Alison seethes behind me, her rage palpable. "Stop this madness, Denzel!"Denzel's smirk twists into a snarl. "Shut up, you filthy traitor. I'll deal with you when I'm done with her.""Traitor, says the traitor himself!" Alison spits, her voice venomous.Hunter joins the chorus of outrage. "You deceived us!"Denzel's laughter sends shivers down my spine. "I didn't deceive you. You're both just blind fools. It would've been nicer to claim one of your bodies."His words drip with malevolence, and I feel a surge of revulsion.I turn to face Alison, our eyes locking in a silent understanding. She wore the cursed necklace around my neck; she could free me.Alison's gaze flashes with recognition, and I turn back to Denzel."Now le

He strides towards me, his gaze burning with malevolence.I attempt to retreat, but Hunter's grip remains unyielding. "You almost escaped," he growls, his breath hot against my ear. "Not this time."Tears prick at the corners of my eyes, but I force them back, sniffing away the emotion.Denzel summons the old lady who has been feeding him like a creep, his voice dripping with impatience. "Ophelia, bring out the pendant. I'll do it, either way."Ophelia's wrinkled hands tremble as she produces the pendant from a hidden compartment. Her voice quavers with a warning. "It's against the rules, Denzel. You cannot use her until you bed her."Denzel's response is explosive. "I
Trigger warning: This chapter contains some repulsive content that some readers might find disturbing.—JASMINE contd.-I open my eyes, grogginess dissipating as I realize I've dozed off. But as I move my limbs, I'm surprised to find I'm no longer as weak as I thought I'd be. The brief sleep must have rejuvenated me, providing the energy boost I desperately needed.Panic sinks in, however, as I take in my surroundings. The bathroom. Memories of Denzel's assault and the black leeches come flooding back. My heart racing, I plunge my body forward, cupping my hands under the faucet to drink water. I'm alive, and that realization spurs determination within me. I must escape, no matter what. With renewed resolve, I straighten up, water dripping from my chin. —JASMINE contd.—I shut my eyes, desperate to escape the nightmare unfolding before me. My mind races to happier memories, visions of my children's smiling faces, their laughter, and warm embraces. I cling to these thoughts, trying to distract myself from the horror of Denzel's rippled, decaying flesh touching my body. But even those cherished memories can't block out reality. Denzel's cold, clammy fingers probed my skin, digging deeper into my core, seeking to awaken an arousal that's impossible to give. My body recoils, repelled by his touch.I shut my eyes even tighter, willing myself to escape, to find solace in the depths of my own mind. I reach for Lira, my wolf. But she's still trapped, locked away and I’ve come to realize that it’s because of the black liquid they forced down my throat. That poisonous brew, designed to suppress my true nature, to sever my connection to Hades and my inner wolf. Tears fall drastically from my eyes as the realization hits me. They manipulate
