—JASMINE

I’m scared of Hades.

Drunk Hades to be precise.

Scared of the person he’s become. The person I’ve made him become.

As I stand before Him, I can't help but feel a mix of frustration and concern.

Hades, the strong and confident man I once knew, has reduced himself to a stumbling, intoxicated mess.

His eyes, once piercing and intense, now wander, scanning my face with a desperation that makes my skin crawl.

The air is thick with the stench of liquor and despair as we both stare at each other.

“You,” He says to me again.

Honestly, it breaks my heart that I have to lie like this. But I don’t have a choice.

His unsteady footsteps echo through the room, a stark contrast to the graceful strides he once took with pride.

He gets close to me and his hands fall on my shoulder making me flinch.

“Have you been drinking?” I ask, letting concern override my voice.

He shakes his head.

“Don’t ask me that. Don’t you dare fuckin ask me that. Bring back my Jasmine”
