"I'm home!" someone screamed and then boom.
Is that my bedroom door? Whatever!
I groaned while wondering lazily and continued on dozing off, like a retarded person. I snuggled more in my bed sheets, hugging my little cushions tightly. This is heaven. I was too tired, groggy and sleepy to turn around to look at the person who decided that disrupting my beauty sleep was such a good idea. I sighed softly in my pillow and fidgeted a little bit to get a better position. I was spra
I looked past my right shoulder and frowned. No way! I did hear someone approaching. I'm hundred percent sure that someone has been following me since I left school. I turned back around and quickened my pace. I gulped hard and speedily walked while skipping once in a while to get away. Why? Just why did I have to stay back at school to revise for my upcoming exams? Why? It's so dark out here and that stupid Max did not even come to fetch me. He left me alone to fend for myself and who was making big big talks about protecting me. Protection, my foot! I mean, who even needs protection? I'm fine by myself, yeah right. See, I'm even wandering around i
Shelly’s point of view; I slowly opened my eyes and found myself lying on the floor. My head somehow aches. I was just about to get up but I couldn't. It was then that I realized that my hands and feet were tied up with ropes. I pushed myself up and leaned my back against the cold wall. I looked around but could barely see anything. It was dark and only the beam of the moon penetrating through the window served as my light from where I was.
Shelly'spointofview:I sighed as I watched my mom cutting the cucumber into round slices and placing them onto another plate one by one. Like seriously, one by one. She is really weird but very patient when it comes to cooking. She likes everything in a proper order and an ideal way. The same goes with her cooking style. She just likes everything to be well organized and I can't really blame her. I usually enjoy watching her but at times; It gets somewhat boring like today.
"Shel", I heard my mom's voice loud and clear and soon, someone was shaking me in my own bed. Seriously? Hey, I'm trying to sleep here, woman!I groaned and turned my back to the pair of hands. I covered my ears with my two little cushions. Oh, how much I love them. They really help me in the mornings and definitely in situations like this one."Shel, if you don't wake up right now, I won't give you any breakfast." she warned. Completely ignoring the underlying threat i
The smile on my face disappeared and I couldn't blame it. Anyone would be scared out of their wits just by standing in front of him.Max is, no doubt, the hottest guy at school. He has the looks, the talents and the body. Yet, he is a bit mysterious and calm while his two other friends, or should I say the two
"Shel", I heard my mom calling me."Yes mom", I replied and walked ahead to see her holding Ash in her arms. I smiled at the little girl and held my hands towards her to see if she would like to let me hold her. She smiled and threw herself in my arms with a slight giggle escaping her mouth. I chuckled and ran my fingers through her hair."Come on", Mrs. Jackson said and gestured for us to sit down. I took a seat beside my mom and set Ash on my lap but she jumped down and ran
"Please Max, I swear if you - Ah!" I screamed when I felt him loosening his grasp around me. I looked at him to see him grinning. How dare he? I feel so weak. Why didn't my brother teach me how to fight? Maybe he was worried that I would go all ninja on him after all he is the one fighting with me every day and he is the one who started all the fights. But really, he should have taught me. At least, he would have felt at ease there at Cape town, studying his higher studies. After all, I am his little sister who is too innocent and who hadn't discovered the world yet. His words, not mine.
Later on that day, I was sitting cross-legged on my bed watching today's episode of pretty little liars while eating my favorite snack. Oreos. Lots of them. I usually hide them under my bed but since my mother found them, she threatened to throw them out. And I was so worried about my babies that I threw a fit in the house. Since that day, I kept all of my favorite snacks hidden in my cupboard. After eating two to three packets of oreos, I was lying peacefully on my bed, my hands behind my head and my legs crossed straight when suddenly, someone stood in front of the television. What the hell?
