Chapter 93 (PART II)

Ezra's POV

I kicked the large rock in front of us so it wouldn't go on our way.

"This reminds me of our village," I commented.

We are in the middle of nowhere. It's been two hours since we left the pack without anyone noticing. I see nothing other than tall trees with big roots that have tripped us over from the past hours.

"Really? What does your village look like, Luna?" Gia asked. She's walking a few steps ahead of me, guiding me to wherever place she suggested.

Gia said it was a safe place and she guaranteed me that no one would find me there. I trust her on that.

"Similar to this. It is a small village that is surrounded by trees. Everyone in our village knows each other by name or by face since our houses are close to each other," I said.

What I said is partly true except that I did not tell her the part where our house is far from other villagers because my father and brother is always doing a 'hunt'. Well, according to them, they are hunting. But in reality, they are actually
