As Alpha Darkmoon walked through the door that was held open, my heart pounded even faster. It felt like my life was over as soon as I left that building.

My wolf said desperately, "Aurela, I don't want to go to him. We've heard enough about this man, so it should be clear to both of us that we don't want any more details. Please, let's run away."

It was a big decision and I had far too little time to figure out what my next step would be.
