Elias POV:

It's been over a week since I visited Asher's smelly cell. When I set foot in, I felt my stomach clench, and I even wanted to vomit on the ground when I smelled the smell of blood and waste mixed.

I stood before the cell, looking at Asher hanging on the rack. He heard the sound but didn't bother to open his eyes; only his mouth moved. "Are you coming again? How long has it been? A day, a week, a month, or a year?"

I smiled faintly; it wasn't strange that he was here and couldn't tell the difference between day and night.

"I've been quite busy lately, so I don't come here often. Today, I came to tell you good news." I smirked and threw Stella's earring into the cell.

Even though Asher was a dying wolf, he was also a sensitive wolf. With just a quick sniff, he knew whose earring it belonged to.
