I pick up one of my study books and start to read. After a while, I stretch and get to my feet, take a walk around, use the bathroom and then sit back down on my chaise and open another book. I jump a little as I hear a soft knock on the door. I don’t say anything and the door opens.
I smile as Ali walks in with a tray full of food. As she gets to the table and puts the tray down, I say,
“That is much more than both our rations put together for at least 3 days…”
She laughs, “It is, but Prince Jeremiah insisted that you have a full, proper meal. He said the rations you were on will not be enough for you to heal as you should and that you will no longer have food rations...”
“So what will I eat?"
She laughs, "Em, he has arranged that from now on you will have normal full meals supplied first thing in the evenings and in the mornings."

EMMAI take a quick shower and slip on one of the Master’s nightdresses. I then walk out of the bedroom and into the sitting room. EMMA I proceed further into the sitting room but turn quickly when I not only hear the door shut, but the click of the lock sliding into place. I feel my face pale as I see the sly smirk on his lips and the evil glint in his eyes, telling me that I should have trusted myself and not trusted him. My whole body freezes as I hear his voice behind me. “My Enchantress… Oh, how I have missed you!” Nathan then walks up in front of me, removing the cleaning tray from my hands and then dropping it to the floor. THIRD PERSON Cole, Elijah, Nathan, Skyler, Samuel, Marcus, Claire, Diego, Tyler and Penelope are sitting around their dining room table laughing and joking as they dig into their breakfast, getting ready for the day when Skyler and Samuel both take a sharp intake of breath and stand up and back from the table.The others soon follow as their hands go to their chests, as for the first time in years, they can feel what Samuel does and that Emma was still, in fact, alive and connected to them. EMMA I stir awake and feel a heavy weight lying over my side with something sitting against my stomach. I move and the weight seems to move and pulls me slightly into a wall of coolness. I look over and see that there is light trying to peek its way past the heavy curtains hanging over the windows. I then turn the other way and come face to the chest of the Master.I sort of freaked out a little. I wasn’t sure what the Master will do when he woke in the evening with me still in his bed. I move slowly and carefully out of his hold and then out of the bed. I make my way into his closet, looking for one of my slave dresses. I am surprised when I find them hanging rather than in the old box on the floor where they used to be.
