THIRD PERSON

Once in the air, Maxine gives Emma the phone she asks for and then heads back to the galley. As soon as Emma has finished on the phone, she asks for a glass of water telling her that the 2 vampires that just bit her had taken a little too much. Knowing that she is going to need it, Maxine added one of their special drugs to the water.

Maxine wasn’t lying when she told Emma that the drug she put into the water was a soft sedative mix to restore blood levels, she however added a little more than they would normally use, to make sure that Emma’s wolf wouldn’t fight the sedative.

Knowing that Emma had seen her add the drug and would probably refuse to drink it, she tries one of her gifts. Maxine was surprised at how easy it was to get into Emma’s head and give her the soft command to drink the water. Queen Amelia and the guard must have taken more blood than Emma had realised, as it wouldn't have been so easy otherwise.
