I could feel the labored breath of my friend, Liza, as we ran as fast as we could away from the paw heart wolf pack.
"Liza, we can do this, just a few more meters. We are almost there" I shouted as I could barely breathe as I ran.
She smiled at me as we Continued running until she looked back and saw Caesar and Scott.
We had been tracked by Caesar and Scott, two of the leaders of the pack, and we had no chance of outrunning them. I glanced back at them and saw them gaining on us. I knew that if we didn't make it away, we would be in trouble.
I heard Liza stumble behind me and I quickly turned around to see her sprawled on the ground. I ran to her side and knelt. I could see the pain in her eyes, but she was determined to get up. She put her hand on my arm and shook her head.
"Go, Amy. Don't worry about me. Just keep running," she said.
I nodded, knowing that I had to leave her behind. I could see the fear in her eyes, but she was determined to get up. I leaned down and hugged her before standing and turning towards the woods. I knew that if I could make it to the trees, I would be safe.
But as I ran, I could still hear the growls of the wolves behind me. I knew that they were getting closer and I ran faster, my heart pounding in my chest. I could feel the tears streaming down my face, but I kept going. I had to make it to the trees.
Finally, I reached the trees. I quickly ran into the woods and hid behind a tree, hoping that the wolves wouldn't be able to find me. I looked back, but I couldn't see them. I could still hear their growls in the distance, but they seemed to be fading away.
I looked back towards where I had left Liza and said a silent prayer for her safety. I had no idea what had happened to her, but I knew that I had to keep going. I had to escape from the paw heart wolf pack. I had to make it out alive.
I took a deep breath and began running again, my feet pounding against the ground. I looked up at the night sky, thankful for my escape for helping me escape successfully but still paying for the moon goddess to shine her luck on me and let me make it to the end.
If I could escape and find a safe ground, I promised the moon goddess that I would not be heartless, I would go back for Liza and the others. I knew that I had to go back for Liza especially, but I also knew that it would be too dangerous.
I was soon running out of breath as I ran so I stopped at the back of a tree and bent to catch my breath before I continued. I looked ahead and saw Liza struggling to run. She did not give up and that was what I liked about her. She was a fighter, a warrior and she was the one who gave me hope of escape when I completely lost hope. I was still smiling as I sat there silently when I saw Caesar and Scott come up behind her and grab her.
I heard her screams and wails but I could do nothing.
My heart pounded as I watched Liza being dragged away by Caesar and Scott, the alpha's children. I wanted to do something, anything to help her, but I was rooted to the spot, my feet glued to the ground. I wanted to scream, to shout, to cry, but I knew I had to stay quiet if I wanted to stay alive.
I was so focused on Liza that I didn't hear Caesar coming up behind me until he was almost upon me. I spun around and saw his face contorted in a hateful sneer. He had seen me.
I turned and ran, my feet pounding against the ground. Caesar's angry shouts echoed behind me, and I could hear him getting closer. I ran faster, my lungs and legs burning in protest, but I had to get away. I had to save myself.
I was so focused on running that I didn't realize I had reached the highway until I was already in the middle of it. I stopped my heart racing and looked around in despair. Cars were coming at me from both directions, going at full speed. I was about to turn and run back, but then I felt a presence behind me.
I spun around and saw Caesar, his eyes glowing with rage. He was no longer a man, but a werewolf, his fur glinting in the moonlight. He was running towards me, and I knew I had no time to waste.
I turned and sprinted towards the other side of the highway, my feet pounding against the pavement. I could feel Caesar's breath on my neck, his claws tearing at my clothes. He was so close, I could almost feel his hot breath on my skin.
And then, out of nowhere, a car came into view. The headlights illuminated the highway, and I knew I was saved. I ran faster, my heart pounding in my chest. I was almost there, I could feel it.
But then, a roar echoed behind me, and I felt a hand grab me. I screamed and tried to pull away, but it was too late. Caesar had me.
I felt myself being dragged backward, and I screamed again. I kicked and struggled, but it was no use. Caesar was too strong.
Just as I was about to give up, the car came closer. It honked its horn, and Caesar looked up. His eyes widened, and he released me. I fell to the ground, my heart pounding.
The car stopped inches away from us, and the driver stuck his head out the window. He yelled something, but I couldn't make it out.
Caesar growled and stepped away from me. I got to my feet, my legs shaking, and looked around. Caesar was gone, and the driver was still shouting something.
The driver opened the door and got out, holding a gun. He shouted at me, his face furious. I didn't understand what he was saying, but I knew I had to run.
I turned and ran, my feet pounding against the ground. I didn't know where I was going, but I had to get away.
And then, I heard a roar behind me. Caesar had found me again.
I watched in horror as Caesar dragged me in his wolf form, his teeth bared and his eyes blazing. He had me by the hair and I was kicking and screaming, begging him to let me go. I didn't want to go back to the life he, his brother, his pack, and his father had chosen for me. I did not want to be a slave anymore.Suddenly, a fast car stopped in front of us and out stepped a drop-dead sexy man. He had a mischievous glint in his eyes and a smirk on his lips. He walked right up to Caesar and said, "Let her go."Caesar snarled and refused, tightening his grip on my hair. I whimpered in pain. The man stepped closer and I could feel the heat radiating from his body. He looked at me and said, "It's going to be alright. I won't let him go with you. I will not let him hurt you."The man then turned his attention back to Caesar and said, "Let her go or face the consequences. I will not repeat myself."But Caesar was not intimidated. He grew bigger in his wolf form and snarled at the man, ready t
I was standing in Jacob's room, talking to him about nothing in particular, when it suddenly hit me: Liza!Liza had been my best friend since we could remember. I loved her so much and I had just remembered as I became so worried about her as I watched as she had been captured by Caesar and Scott earlier that day. I had been trying so hard not to think about it, but now it all came flooding back.My face must have changed drastically because I could feel a wave of concern wash over Jacob's expression. He asked me what was wrong, and I couldn't keep it in any longer. I told him everything: I and Liza had planned to escape, I was successful because of him but Liza was not. They dragged her back to their pack before my very eyes. As I explained the story, I had tears rolling down my eyes.Jacob was so understanding and compassionate. He held me while I sobbed, and told me that we would figure something out. He said that he knew someone who could help us with the situation. He said that h
My heart raced as Alpha Damien grabbed my best friend from my grip. He was so fast, yet I couldn't do anything to stop him. I watched in horror as he bit into her flesh. I heard her screams and felt my heart break. Tears streamed down my face as I watched him tear her to pieces. I wanted to look away, but I couldn't. I felt like my feet were glued to the ground.Jacob, my savior, tried to hold me as I broke down in tears. He was trying to comfort me, but I just couldn't seem to stop crying. I felt like my whole world had been ripped away from me in that moment.Jacob became furious and suddenly he started to change. His body started to grow and contort, and his skin became dark black. His eyes were glowing red and he had fangs. He had become a big black and scary werewolf.I was beyond terrified. I had never seen anything like this before. I wanted to run away, but I couldn't bring myself to move. Jacob was growling and snarling, ready to attack Alpha Damien. I was so scared that I co
I followed Jacob home. I didn't follow him home, he dragged me by the arm into his car and then strapped me into the passenger seat by force. I tried to free myself but he glared at me and promised to do what the other pack had done to my friend, Lisa. I whimpered in silence as I saw there was nothing I could do. I watched as he banged the door in my face. I was sure the car's door would come off but thankfully, it didn't. Jacob walked over to his side of the car and opened it. He immediately entered inside and banged the door again. He turned to me as I watched him pat my head forcefully and then smile. He stretched his seat belt a little further and then strapped it in. He turned to stare at me again before turning the car on and igniting its engine. I leaned into the car seat, exhausted and annoyed as I soon felt the car move. When we arrived home, I watched as Jacob came outside of the car and walked over to me. He pulled off my seat belt and asked me to get up. I stayed put. I wa
I held my cheek as I tried to take the pain in. It was too sudden for me to react as I stood there in awe. Before I could say a word, I watched as this ruthless character dragged me by my hair back to his home. He walked fast as though he had something burning on the fire. I screamed and cried on my way there but he paid me no attention. He just continued dragging me there until we were finally home. When we got inside, he took me straight into his room. The hallways I had passed that looked so beautiful to me before now felt like prison cells to me. The tears in my eyes blinded my vision and made sure to make me not see the beauty in the interiors anymore. As we got to his room, he quickly pushed me on the bed and walked to the bathroom. He stayed there for a while until I heard the door open and he walked out of the bathroom in just a towel tied at his waist. I bit down on my lower lip as I tried not to look downward. The urge was not easy to overcome as I tried so hard but eventua
