Chapter Twenty-four.

“Dwayne,” I seethed.

How could he just blurt it out like that? He knew I hadn’t told anyone but Rose. I wanted Wade to know the truth, that's why I haven’t told him about me marrying Dwayne.

“Pardon?”

Dwayne extended his hand for Wade to shake.

“I’m Dwayne Lily’s husband.”
