CHAPTER NINETY-ONE

Andrew furrowed his brows at the sight of Emily seated on a rock and staring at the moon. It was unsettling to watch. It seemed as if she was glowing in the moonshine. A lump formed in his throat as he stood transfixed and goosebumps scattered on his body.

Instead of calling out her name, Andrew sneaked up on her. As he got closer, he confirmed his suspicions. She sat staring at the moon, certainly enthralled by its moonshine. Andrew watched in wonder as the moonlight illuminated her. Her brown hair was billowed by the winds, her face hung upwards. She radiated in the moonlight.
