Vincent woke up in an awfully good mood that day. He did not know what he did the night before that made him felt so refreshed that morning, which was quite a rarity lately. He thought it must have been Lana's return that made him feel excited about his day. The first thing he did after he woke up was to brush his teeth, did his business and then got dressed in his black robe before walking out of the room and headed straight to Lana's room.
His heart was thumping loudly, he nearly burst in excitement when he knocked on her door. He waited, but there was no response. Vincent was an impatient man, he did not like waiting, it
"You're not sorry you did it. You're sorry that you get caught."-Unknown-***Damian had just arrived at work when he saw Lucas sitting in his computer, he seemed to be working on something. In a glance it might appear like he was doing work, but when Damian slowly paid attention in silent, he saw that he was actually creating a code of some sort and it definitely was not related to work. He knew exactly what he was doing but he still needed to make sure that his guess was right. He cleared his throat and Lucas nearly jumped out of his chair when he realized Damian had been standing behind him the whole time. He had to make sure that the guy was not turning off the computer to hide whatever he was working on
"If you really love one another, you will not be able to avoid making sacrifices."-Mother Teresa-***Later on that day, Dimitri approached Lana who was walking around in her garden, gazing at a bush of roses that were starting to wither from the cold. It was the beginning of fall already, how time had flown by so quickly. Lana heard the sound of his footsteps and turned around. Dimitri's face appeared quite serious. She knew he must have come there to deliver and important news."What is it, Dimitri?""Lana, I have something important that I need to tell you, but we need to go somewhere private." He was glancing around to see a few guards placed in the gar
"Never underestimate the woman that holds God's pen."-Shannon l. Alder-***James slowly fluttered his eyes open. It had been hours since he saw the injection entered his skin, draining his consciousness away forcefully without mercy. He was thirsty, his throat was getting dry and his stomach was growling, he tried to move his arms but it was to no avail. Not only was his body still quite weak, his arms and legs were still tied since the last time he was conscious. The moment he opened his eyes he was welcomed by the sight of the same dark room, only that time, there was not just one person in the room with him, there were three other individuals, one of them was a woman.
"The most successful people are those who are good at plan B."-James A. Yorke-***The figure took a seat and watched as the screen before him unfolded, revealing a scene of buildings being engulfed and consumed by flames. He watched as a bunch of men wearing gas mask ran out of the building and found themselves badly burnt or injured as well, judging from the chaos that occurred it seemed some of them were still stuck in the buildings as parts of it started to collapse. The front door was already closed and only few were able to make it outside. From his glasses which reflected the hues of orange and red he saw. It was absolute chaos and amid this someone still had the nerve to record everything. He had unm
"Those we love never truly leave us. There are things that death cannot touch."-Jack Thorne-***It was 4 A.M in the morning when Lana suddenly heard something that itched her hearings. She did not quite understand what it was, but for a brief moment she felt a scared, as if there was something dangerous lurking near her. She also had a terrible gut feeling she had not had in a long time. It woke her up in an instant. She was breathing heavily and realized she had been sweating despite the cold temperature of the room. Suddenly, she heard a bunch of noises and looked out from her window to see what the commotion was about. The noise was low at first, however, the more awake she was, the clearer the noises b
"Love is of all passions the strongest, for it attacks simultaneously the head, the heart and the senses."-Lao Tzu-***The team walked into the manor and was surprised that most of the guards were already gone from the house. They kept on searching all across the house only to find Vincent’s body laid dead at the rooftop. There were three men standing to witness it and they stared confusedly at each other as they held their guns in case. One of them poked his body with the gun just to make sure he was actually dead.“Who killed him?” They questioned each other but of course none of them knew the answer. They guessed it made their work easier because it meant they did not have to deal with Vincent and his men on their own which would certainly cause quite a few losses on their part. One of the man made a call to the headquarter to let the board knew about the news. Each members of the board were equally as surp
"The risk of love is loss and the price of loss is grief but the pain of grief is only a shadow when compared with the pain of never risking love."-Hilary Stanton Zunin-***As soon as they arrived back to New York, Damian asked her if she wanted him to accompany her that night, considering how fragile she was feeling at the moment, he was a bit worried to leave her alone. Sad people often do stupid things and he did not want her to dwell too much in her sorrow. Lana was silent for a moment, she certainly could not be left alone but at the same time, she also did not want someone beside her when she cried. It was such a simple question but for some strange reason she found it highly difficult to answer.Lana was not usually that indecisive, she was not the kind of woman who would make simple things complicated but her mind was such a mess that night.“I don’t want to be alone tonight, but I also don’t wa
"Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory."-Theodor Seuss Geisel-***I remembered the first time I met Dimitri. I was I was just a little child who was submerged in my own world. After my father’s death, I had to make some adjustments here and there. I could feel right away that I did not belong in this new area, it was not as if I had difficulties making friends with them. I did not speak English as fluently as I could when I grew up a bit but I was still a rather bright girl, so a few kids around the neighborhood who passed by my house would ask to play with me and I thought I could be friends with them.“Lana, don’t go out by yourself.” I used to hear my mother screamed as she saw me walking pass the gate with the friends and she would grab my hand and took me away from the friends I just met. I think they became scared of my mother in particular so they rarely inv
