My parents were too busy packing their things to realize I had come downstairs, I had to hold in my laughter because I knew that my dad would kill me if I gave away my position. The sirens were finally in hearing distance, I quickly moved out of sight from my parents and listened to my mother cry as dad yelled at her to grab the stuff and run to the car. The cops busted into the house and saw my parents trying to run, my parents didn’t make it far. As the cops took my parents out I talked with the woman on the phone and told her everything was alright. The cops walked me out so I could identify if they caught the right people, they did but they were missing some of the boys. My parents and brothers yelled at me to forgive them and say it wasn’t true but I ignored them as I told the cops that I would be at my best friend's house if they needed me. I took off towards Dime’s house with my truck thinking about what I would do now t
Dime dyed my hair midnight black and added some silver streaks to my hair“Dang girl your eyes are popping now!” Dime said as she looked me in the mirror,“What do you know you’re right!” I said loving my new look better than the last one. I moved so Dime could sit down so I could dye her hair, Dime ended up with blood red hair,“Ohh, dang girl!” I said to her“I know I’m just too hot!’ Dime said she did a sassy hair flip“Hahaha hell yeah you are!” I laughed out. We moved on to cutting our hair, Dime still wanted her hair long but she decided to cut it up to the middle of her back&ldq
We were finally to our last hour, one of the only hours I don’t have with Dime, I walked into my class to see the only empty seat next to Drew,“Great” I whispered to myself as I walked over to the seat. I sat in the seat hoping Drew wouldn’t say anything to me“Hey Moony” Drew said as I was getting my stuff out of my bag“Crap,” I thought as I smiled at him“What? Too scared to talk?” Drew said with a smirk on his face,“No not scared, just don’t feel like talking to someone like you” I snapped at him but then realized what I had just said“I’m sorry I mea
After class Drew handed me a piece of paper with an address on it asking for Dime and me to be there tonight,“We going?” Dime asked as we entered our home“I guess,” I sighed as I headed for my room,“Sweet!” Dime shouted as she rushed to her room to get ready for the get-together. Dime and I pulled up to Drew’s apartment“You ready?” Dime asked“I guess,” I sighed out getting out of my truck. We walked up to the door getting ready to knock but before we could knock Drew opened the door with a smile,“Hey, girls come on in!”
Dime babied me as we walked to the school doors, which sadly had the boys standing by it, and they looked like they were waiting for us.“What happened to her?” Tom asked“Uh… she… uh” Dime tried to say“I passed out last night, is what my lovestruck friend is trying to say,” I groaned out in annoyance“Uh…” Tom babbled out as he blushed“Why did you pass out?” Drew asked with what looked like worry flashing through his eyes“None of your business,” I snapped and held my head in pain“Woah!”
We spent the rest of the night eating our pizza and watching our movies and shows“Time for bed, my little boo,” I said as I picked up the pizza boxes“Ok!” Dime said a little too happy“What’s up with you?” I asked her giving her a weird look“Nothing,” Dime replied too quickly“Oh, I see,” I smirked as I watched her creep away“Oh no, you don’t!” I shouted as I lunged for her“Someone has a little crush!”“No!” Dime screamed at me trying to shove
I walked into the kitchen to grab some water while Dime stayed with the boys,“God, how stupid can boys be!” I asked myself as I filled my cup with water,“We can be pretty stupid, but not stupid enough to not catch a lie,” a voice came from behind me, and I turned to see Drew standing in the doorway watching me,“What lie?” I asked“When I delivered your pizza, you said you lived here with your parents, but I don’t see how you and Dime are related, and I don’t see any sign of anyone but the two of you living here,” Drew answered as he made his way over to me.“What makes you think I lied?” I asked Drew
After our breakfast, Dime and I wanted to go to the bookstore to buy some books for our apartment,“Ready Dime?” I shouted as I grabbed my keys,“Coming!” Dime shouted back as she came stumbling down the stairs, Dime wore an emerald green bralette with black leggings and emerald green sneaker heels,“Looking hot there babes,” I said as I opened the door“You too,” Dime said as she looked at my outfit, I was wearing a silver bralette with a black fishnet shirt over the bralette with black jeans and silver sneakers. I drove Dime and me over to the closest Barnes and Noble,“Books, books, books,” Dime sang as we parked
Dime and I spent the rest of the day reading and watching our shows to keep our minds off of our problems,"Saph?" Dime called out from her spot on the couch"Yes?" I called back putting my book down,"Can you get me some food?" Dime asked as she smiled at me, knowing I would be upset to put down my book,"Really?" I asked her"Please, I'm hungry and too lazy to go get some food," Dime whined"Fine, what do you want?" I asked as I set my book down on my chair"Ramen!" Dime shouted"You're a jerk!" I shouted back, upset she made me agree to making her food at a good part in my book. I made Dime's ramen, making sure there was enough for me as well, before walking back into the living room to grab my book and Dime,"Food," I told Dime as I shoved her off the couch"Jerk!" Dime shouted as she jumped up onto her feet as I laughed"You deserved it," I laughed as I walked
7 years later "Dime, Saph!" Trish yelled from my room, "Coming!" Dime and I yelled back together as we ran to Trish. Trish laughed as Dime and I stumbled into my room, "These boxes are ready to go," Trish said as she suppressed her laughter, Dime and I nodded as we picked up the boxes Trish pointed to. "Are we actually moving out?" Dime asked as she set the two boxes she was carrying in the bed of the truck, "We are," I said to Dime, knowing she was just amazed by the fact that we were leaving our safe spot, "Come on girls there are more boxes up here!" Dave yelled from the stairs, "We are coming!" I yelled up to him. "Honestly, it's more surprising that we are moving into new houses without each other," I said to Dime as we climbed the stairs, "Well, we tried convening them to let the four of us move into one house, but those two are too stubborn," Dime grumbled a
Drew and Tom were standing in front of our door, "What do you want?" I asked them, getting really annoyed with their antics, "We just want to talk," Tom said as he looked to Dime, "Fine," Dime said as she grabbed Tom and walked to her room. "Can we talk as well?" Drew asks before I can go after Dime and Tom, "Fine, but you have to come to my room. I have to finish packing," I said as I walked away from him, "Sounds good to me," Drew said as he shut the door and jogged after me. We walked past Dime's room to see the door closed "Tch," I clicked my tongue as we passed by; she obviously didn't want me to hear what was being said. Drew entered the room behind me and closed my door, "Why did you close my door?" I asked as I snapped my head around to look at him, "So we can talk without interrupting Dime and Tom, and so you can't try to get rid of me," Drew said as he sm
Dime and I pulled into the apartment parking lot and waited for Dave and Trish. "How are you doing?" Dime asked me, "I'm fine," I answered as I kept an eye out for Dave and Trish, "Are you sure?" Dime asked as she looked at me with worried eyes, "Yes, I'm sure. Dime, even though we went through a lot today, we made big decisions and made it through the day even though there were a ton of obstacles," I answered as I smiled at her; Dime smiled back as Dave and Trish parked next to us, "Shall we?" I asked Dime, "We shall," Dime replied as she got out of the truck. Trish was in the kitchen cooking dinner, she kicked us out, yelling about how w
Trish and Dave grabbed Dime and me as they headed for the parking lot, "Meet you at the apartments?" Dave asked as we stopped in front of my truck, "Sounds good to me," Dime responded as she nodded in agreement, Dime was so ready to get off of the school grounds and go home, and I didn't blame her, "Yes please," I responded; Dave and Trish nodded before saying goodbye and walked to the car they came in. "Let's go, now," Dime said as she opened the passenger door to the truck, "I agree before anything else happens, let's get out of here," I agreed and went to open the driver's door when I was stopped by a hand grabbing the door handle. "We need to talk, Saph," a voice echoed in my ears as the person spoke from behind me, "Great, here we go again," I whispered to myself as I turned around to see the boys standing by my truck looking at Dime and me, Drew was the one who was stopping me fro
"Now without further ado, I hereby announce that this class has graduated!" Mr. Ben shouted with a huge proud smile on his face, then we, students, threw our caps into the air and shouted with happiness. I laughed as I watched my classmates hug one another, I watched as some even cried as they caught their falling caps, and I watched as many laughed and ran to their families in happiness; I looked to Dime and smiled, "Shall we go see 'our parents'," I asked as I nodded to the crowd leaving the bleachers, "We shall," Dime smiled, happy we actually had people to celebrate our graduation with. Dime and I ran towards the bleachers to see Dave and Trish, "Congra..." my mother started to say as she opened her arms for me to run to her and hug her, but I ran past her to Dave and Trish, "Dime!" Dime's mother shouted as she came running to us but we ignored her and ran into Dave and Trish's arms, "Congrats girls!" Dave and Trish
I walked up to my seat noticing my brothers were watching me as I walked up, "What do you want?" I asked as I sat down in my seat, "We just wanted to apologize and ask what your plans are after graduation," Brock said as I sat next to Grant, "I'm not listening to this right now, and I'm not telling you my plans for after graduation," I replied looking forward to the stage, where the teachers and principal were getting ready for the graduation. "Saph, please, we really are just trying to apologize for our past actions," Grant said as he turned to look at me, "I don't care right now I want to get graduation over with and get away from the two of you as fast as possible," I snarled out as I glared at my brothers, who looked away from my glare. "Saph," a voice called out from behind me, I turned to look who was calling my name and shook my head in frustration, "Enough, go away. The ceremony
Tom and Drew walked up to Dime and me with smiles on their faces, "Ready for graduation?" Tom asked as he checked out Dime, his eyes traveling down her body to take in her outfit and how hot she looked, "Oh trust me, we are so ready for graduation," I responded stepping in front of Dime to get Tom's eyes off of her, "Why do you say it like you're about to run away from here?" Drew asked as he checked me out, "Because we are, we are going to a college far from here," I admitted before realizing my mistake, "Ok, get out of our way so we can graduate and get out of here," I said as I grabbed Dime's arm and pulled her away from the boys. "Wait up!" Drew called after us and joined Dime and me as we walked towards the football field, "What do you want now?" I growled out as Tom stepped next to Dime and gave her a small smile, "We are just trying to have a conversation with you two and
Dime and I woke up feeling excited and refreshed, "Ready for Graduation?" Dime shouted from her room as she got out of bed, "Totally, you?" I shouted back as I entered the bathroom before Dime, "Totally, I'm ready to get out of here," Dime admitted as she threw open the door to the bathroom and joined me in it as I brushed my teeth, "However, I'm not ready to face the boys again as well as our entire school," Dime said as she stepped into the shower, "I agree, it's going to be horrible in that sense," I nodded as I washed my face at the sink, "Do you think our parents will show up?" Dime asked as she peeked her head from behind the bathroom curtain, "I'm not sure, I hope they don't," I answered before walking out of the bathroom and back to my room. I shoved on a white crop top before pulling up some red dress pants "Wait, won't your parents be there because of your brothe
Trish and the officer followed Dime and me into our apartment, "Goodness, your parents really did make a mess in your place," Trish said as she looked at the mess around her, "Yeah, sorry, it's usually cleaner than this," I said sheepishly as I rubbed the back of my neck in embarrassment, Trish shook her head and turned to look at me "Oh honey, I believe you. I can't believe your parents would do this," Trish said as she looked at Dime and me apologetically, "How about I start making some food and you guys can talk," Dime offered as she pointed towards the destroyed TV room, "Sounds good to me," Trish and the officer said as they headed towards the room and started picking stuff up. Trish and the officer helped clean up our apartment as they listened to me explain more about my past and listening to what had been happening in the past few months, "Wow, I can't believe that all happened," Trish said as she handed
